LONDON (Alliance News) - Georgia-based TBC Bank Group PLC said Tuesday it appointed Maria Luisa Cicognani and Tsira Kemularia as non-executive directors on Monday, effective immediately.
Cicognani is chairperson of Marc Mobius Investment Trust, and was recently chairwoman of Moneta Money Bank based in Prague.
Kemularia is head of group pensions strategy and standards at Shell International Ltd, part of Royal Dutch Shell PLC, and also is a trustee director of BG Group Pensions Trustees Ltd.
"We are delighted to welcome Maria Luisa and Tsira to TBC Bank. Their significant and wide-ranging experience brings further valuable skills and balance to our board," said Chairman Mamuka Khazaradze.
TBC said both Cicognani and Kemularia also will be appointed as supervisory board members of TBC's main subsidiary JSC TBC Bank.
Following these appointments on Monday, the company said Stefano Marsaglia and Stephan Wilcke stepped down from both the TBC Bank board and the supervisory board of JSC TBC Bank.
TBC shares were trading up 0.6% at 1,576.00 pence on Tuesday.
