(Alliance News) - Metal Tiger PLC on Wednesday said its Syndey-listed investee Cobre Ltd has started a drilling campaign in an asset in Australia.
Cobre, in which Metal Tiger owns a 19% stake, has kicked off a third drilling programme at the Perrinvale copper project.
A diamond drill, Metal Tiger said, with a reverse circulation drill arriving this week.
"Cobre’s programme includes 6,000 metre of RC and DD drilling at Perrinvale, with the dual aim of extending current VHMS mineralisation and drill testing new targets," Metal Tiger said.
Metal Tiger shares were 10% higher at 2.35 pence each in London on Wednesday afternoon.
