LONDON (Alliance News) - Natural resources investor Metal Tiger PLC said Thursday it invested a further GBP36,500 in joint venture partner MOD Resources Ltd in a transaction last Thursday.

Metal Tiger purchased a combined 1.4 million shares in MOD Resources for a total of AUD66,478.

After the transaction, Metal Tiger holds 130.9 million shares or a 6.0% stake in MOD.

The buy follows Metal Tiger hiking its stake through a number of transactions last week to 129.5 million shares on Thursday through a combined GBP697,400 purchase. At the time of its earlier purchase last Monday, Metal Tiger said it also held 1.54 billion warrants exercisable until April 2019.

Shares in Metal Tiger were 1.9% higher at 2.14 pence on Monday in London.
