Mode Global Holdings PLC - bitcoin banking app company based in London - Confirms launch of Android app which - similar to its iOS version - allows customers to sign up, make free and instant bank transfers and top ups, and start buying Bitcoin in minutes.
"We have estimated that Android users represent more than half of the cryptocurrency population, presenting a much wider market size to scale and the opportunity to significantly accelerate our user growth. Today marks another key step in our mission to provide investors with access to next-generation Bitcoin products," says Chair Jonathan Rowland.
Mode also notes Bitcoin trades in January more than doubled from December, adding trading volumes since August have more than doubled month on month.
