(Alliance News) - Liberum Capital Ltd said Friday it brought more companies to the AIM market in London in 2021 than any other broker.
Liberum said it advised on nine initial public offerings in London this year. Of these, seven - Virgin Wines UK PLC, In The Style Group PLC, CMO Group PLC, Forward Partners Group PLC, Tortilla Mexican Grill PLC, Aptamer Group PLC and CT Automotive Group PLC - were on AIM.
Made.com Group PLC and Castelnau Group Ltd were listed on the London Main Market.
In total, Liberum said it acted on 50 fundraising transactions in 2021.
Companies already listed on AIM raised GBP5.62 billion in the 10 months to the end of October, already exceeding a historically strong year in 2020, according to figures published by the AIM Journal earlier in December. Added to this was GBP1.25 billion raised in IPOs so far in 2021.
The total amount raised by new and existing AIM listings so far in 2021 of GBP6.88 billion is the fourth highest on record, AIM Journal noted.
