(Alliance News) - Independent Oil & Gas PLC on Tuesday said it has appointed former investment banker Rupert Newall to be its new chief financial officer.
Current CFO James Chance, who has held the role for the past four years, will move over to be head of corporate finance and investor relations.
Independent Oil said Newall held investment banking roles at Deutsche Bank AG, Bank of America Corp and BMO Capital Markets. He joined Independent Oil in November of last year and now will join the board, following regulatory approval.
Independent Oil shares were down 0.3% at 17.94 pence Tuesday afternoon in London.
