Immunodiagnostic Systems Holdings PLC - Tyne & Wear-based diagnostic testing kits and instruments maker - Says fully automated SARS-CoV-2 IgM antibody test will be available for sale from Friday. Notes test - which gives results in 30 minutes - detects specific antibodies indicating recent exposure to the Covid-19 virus and whether the immune system has started responding to the virus.
Tests can now be bought by customers in the UK, the EU, and a number of other countries which accept the CE mark as the basis of regulatory approval.
