(Alliance News) - Haynes Publishing Group PLC on Friday said it expects to report double-digit profit growth in the first half of its current financial year.
The stock was 5.9% higher in London in morning trade at 450.00 pence a share.
The car manuals publisher said it expects adjusted pretax profit for the six months to the end of November to come in about 37% ahead of the prior year's GBP1.6 million.
Haynes said the improved performance was helped by organic growth, with both revenue and underlying profit tracking ahead of the prior year.
"Our strong performance is underpinned through our sustained investment in product innovation, content integration and growing data coverage, which continues to generate value for all stakeholders of the group," said Chair Eddie Bell.
The company said it will publish its interim results on January 30 next year.
