LONDON (Alliance News) - Holders Technology PLC on Friday said that its annual profit rose due to improved revenue generation.
For the year ended November 30, the company which supplies materials for for printed circuit boards posted a pretax profit of GBP177,000 up from GBP54,000 a year ago.
Revenue increased to GBP12.5 million, up 2.5% year-on-year from GBP12.2 million.
"Given our continuing commitment to achieving satisfactory levels of profitability I am pleased to be able to report that the group has made further progress over the year," Executive Chair Rudi Weinreich said.
The company declared a final dividend of 0.50 pence per share, taking the firm's total payout to shareholders for the year to 0.75p per share, up from 0.50p last year.
Looking ahead, Weinreich expressed confidence in the company's future prospects by saying it believes the group to be "well-positioned to deliver further growth".
However, he added that the board recognises that the company faces unpredictable market conditions.
Holders Technology shares were trading up 4.4% at 43.00 pence each.
