Tue, 28th Apr 2020 15:27

(Alliance News) - Exillon Energy PLC on Tuesday said its production edged higher in March, as the oil producer reported a second monthly output update in as many days.

Exillon, which on Monday reported on its February production, said its average daily output in March rose 4.9% month-on-month to 14,125 barrels per day.

At its assets in the Timan-Pechora region of Russia, average daily production rose to 2,197 barrels per day, a 7.1% increase from 2,052 in February.

As in February, the largest contributor came from its West Siberia assets. Output there came in at 11,553 barrels per day, up 5.5% from 10,947 barrels in February.

Peak daily production was 4.3% higher at 14,584 barrels per day from 13,988 barrels.

Shares in Exillon Energy are currently suspended, as it is yet to release its annual results for 2018.

At the end of October, the company had proposed the cancellation of its shares from Main Market trading in London. It needs the approval of at least 75% of shareholders at an upcoming extraordinary general meeting vote.
