Weeks after agreeing on a loan of £5m to cut costs, mobile financial servives group eServGlobal has announced the departure of a non-executive director.Duncan Lewis is stepping down from the board from 30 June following a review into the board to cut costs.The company said in a statement that, as a part of the programme, the board has been reviewed against the requirements of the core business and, as a result, Lewis agreed to resign as a director."The board is grateful for Duncan's contributions and wishes him well," it added.eServGlobal said this month it has entered into an agreement for a loan of £5m in order to cut costs of legal entities, workforce and offices, which should generate annualised savings of £1.5m.The loan, provided by the Alphagen Volantis Fund and the Alphagen Volantis Catalyst Fund, will also support working capital requirement of a project delivery schedule during the second half which is higher than previous years.Shares fell 4.11% to 17.5p on Wednesday at 15:50.
