Universe Group PLC - Southampton, Hampshire-based retail management, payment and loyalty systems - Hires Adrian Wilding as chief financial officer and Graham Bird as non-executive director. Wilding replaces Carmel Warren, who was serving as interim CFO. Wilding was chief executive officer and CFO of payments firm CR7 Services Ltd. Previously, he worked at former FTSE 250 listing Just Retirement Group PLC. Bird is CFO of AIM-listed escape room operator Escape Hunt PLC. Universe Group recently hired Neil Radley as its new chief executive officer. Radley had led Jaja Finance Ltd, a fintech lending firm. He replaces Jeremy Lewis, who departs on April 30.

Ashmore Group PLC - emerging markets-focused asset manager - Hires Helen Beck as non-executive director from June 1, while Anne Pringle will retire from the board on June 30. Beck is retiring as a partner at accountants Deloitte LLP on May 31. Deloitte is a remuneration advisor to Ashmore.

Faron Pharmaceuticals Oy - Turku, Finland-based biopharmaceuticals - Appoints Anne Whitaker as non-executive director following the passing of resolutions at Faron's annual general meeting on Friday. Whitaker is chair of Aerami Therapeutics Holdings Inc, a private life science company, having previously been chief executive officer. Prior to Aerami, Whitaker was CEO of Novoclem Therapeutics Inc.

Chaarat Gold Holdings Ltd - gold miner in Armenia and mine developer in Kyrgyz Republic - Hires Sandy Stash as independent non-executive director, starting May 1. Stash is a non-executive director of FTSE 250-constituent Diversified Gas & Oil PLC.

Dalata Hotel Group PLC - Dublin-based hotel operator in Ireland and UK - Alf Smiddy to retire as non-executive director at April 29 AGM, as part of company's plan to refresh board.
