(Alliance News) - Internet platform CentralNic Group PLC on Thursday confirmed that it was in advanced discussions for the potential acquisition of Team Internet AG.
Team Internet is a subsidiary of advertising technology provider Matomy Media Group Ltd.
In September, Matomy said it had entered due diligence discussions with a potential buyer for its 90% stake in Team Internet as well as the 10% stake in the firm held by Rainmaker Investments GmbH.
In late October, Matomy said shareholders extended support for current negotiations to sell its stake in technology firm Team Internet, which is being undertaken until the end of November.
Shares in CentralNic closed up 2.7% at 48.80 pence on Thursday in London. Matomy Media shares ended 7.7% higher at 2.80p.
