The FTSE Small Caps Index closed up 0.1 percent and junior-listedAIM shares added 0.4 percent, against the mid-caps and the bluechips, up 0.3 and 0.2 percent respectively.
Marketing company Cello added 11 percent after saying it continuedto experience robust trading for the six months to 30 June 2013 and saw an everincreasing majority of income coming from outside the UK.
W Resources, a tungsten and gold exploration and developmentcompany with assets in Spain and Portugal, fell 10.8 percent after announcingthat it has completed a placement of 125,000,000 ordinary shares.
