AIM WINNERS & LOSERS: Zambeef Products rises 16% on positive outlook

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers on AIM in London on Thursday.

AIM - WINNERS

Zambeef Products PLC, up 16% at 7.40 pence, 12-month range 4.00p-8.05p. The Zambia-focused cold chain foods and retail business says for year ending September 30, revenue is expected to be in line with current market expectations. Adjusted pretax profit is expected to be 20% to 30% ahead of forecasts. Revenue in financial 2020 was ZMW3.88 billion, about GBP124.6 million. Pretax loss was ZMW22.7 million.

Bahamas Petroleum PLC, up 12% at 0.36p, 12-month range 0.3p-3.7p. The Caribbean-focused oil and gas company says rig mobilisation to the Saffron 2 well in Trinidad & Tobago will commence on Sunday and is targeting commencement of drilling on or around May 23. Says a further five to nine production wells are currently planned to be drilled in the second half of 2021 as part of an overall field development of up to 30 wells.

Somero Enterprises Inc, up 11% at 470.00p, 12-month range 1.71p-490.00p. The Fort Myers, Florida-based concrete levelling equipment company sees stronger than anticipated trading momentum in the US in the first four months of the year alongside signs of improving activity levels in Europe and Australia. As such, expects to report financial 2021 revenue of USD100.0 million, adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation of USD31.0 million, and improvement in the anticipated year end net cash position.

Gateley Holdings PLC, up 7.8% at 201p, 12-month range 115p-209.35p. The law firm says financial 2021 revenue is expected to be materially ahead of consensus market expectations of GBP111.7 million. Gateley also confirms it intends to recommence dividend payments and declares interim dividend of 2.5p.

Braveheart Investment Group PLC, down 12% at 45p, 12-month range 2.43p-140.20p. The UK-based investment firm says director Trevor Brown sells 1.4 million shares at average price of 57.161p per share, in a disposal worth GBP827,343. Following the sale, Brown holds 2.0 million shares.
