London South East welcomed stock market veteran Keith Hiscock, CEO at Hardman & Co to their first investor briefing of the year. Keith has over 35 years as a senior figure in the City and really does understand in detail how the stock market operates.
Hardman have just published original research which proves the causal connection between retail investors, liquidity and stock pricing. Keith took us through his workings to reach that conclusion, and it was very enlightening. He finished by explaining how marketmakers really work – which may not be how retail investors think they operate! His presentation really is well worth a watch.
