Hi, I would appreciate it if you would confirm here that the number of my posts that you have deleted is zero. Also do you always email to notify people when you remove their posts? Does the displayed posts count figure for a user decrease when their posts are deleted? I presume that the “posts count†total is there for entertainment only and is not intended to be a reliable indicator of anything. For instance should there be a difference between the number shown in: Users profiles page “Number of Share Chat Posts (all time):†And the quantity shown next to messages “ Posts:†? Is it possible from time to time that those posts count figures shown on your website may temporarily show a wildly inaccurate figure (many hundreds or thousands high or low) due to database/software glitches? Thanks

Hi StoneFold, Your total post count is as it's listed on your profile, 88 posts in total. The total number of posts doesn't change even if one is deleted and we don't notify people when a post is removed. if you've got any more questions don't hesitate to ask and we'll help wherever we can. Thanks.

Hi Craig, Thanks for your help. So if people are curious if posts have been deleted, they need to compare the posts that remain displayed in the profile, with the posts total in the profile. As if anyone would be that crazy ;-) There is no need to reply to the following observation. I still think that there maybe a minor database glitch, that is assuming that the number for the posts total shown next to a post, should be equal to the posts total shown in the profile? Taking the first five most recent posters on a board for example. Poster ,, The posts total shown to the left of their post ,, The number of share chat post all time. Shown in their User profile StoneFold ,, 88 ,, 88 Phoebus ,, 2,258 ,, 2,234 Jester16 ,, 3159 ,, 3,099 Werberone ,, 876 ,, 883 SKINNER777 ,, 2,093 ,, 1,907

Hi StoneFold, Thanks for bringing that to our attention. Seems like a small glitch in relation to when and if a posts gets deleted, think it then throws the count off somewhat. I'll get the developer to look into it all the same. Thanks.
