Any signs of life here or at UBI for that matter? Hoping the turnaround is gaining momentum.... "Global RTLS Market Growth at CAGR of 46.47%, 2017-2021: Key Vendors are AiRISTA, HP, Stanley Healthcare, Ubisense & Zebra - Research and Markets" http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20170328006159/en/Global-RTLS-Market-Growth-CAGR-46.47-2017-2021/?feedref=JjAwJuNHiystnCoBq_hl-Q-tiwWZwkcswR1UZtV7eGe24xL9TZOyQUMS3J72mJlQ7fxFuNFTHSunhvli30RlBNXya2izy9YOgHlBiZQk2LOzmn6JePCpHPCiYGaEx4DL1Rq8pNwkf3AarimpDzQGuQ%3D%3D&utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
I saw the DM article and that should help move it through 50p. Buy on weakness below 45p imho.
Got featured in Daily Mail's 'Stock Watch' today. Might attract some buying on Monday. Good to see this starting to turn around. I always believed in the product, the customer list tells you all you need to know about the viability of the product. Previous CEO Richard Green was simply terrible though and the company was managed very badly. Kestrel are no mugs and their average must be around the 50p mark. They'll be looking to at least double their money.
Not good, marvellous. Just read it and impressed.
Good update. New CEO
Looks like a potential good turn around business ... Anyone got any thoughts?? Thanks
NEW should read NED.
Current market cap at £22.5M. Why shouldn't it approach £100M when the target was to create the next £1Bn market cap Cambridge company? I really see no reason they shouldn't get towards that level, say 4x current. Next 2 sets of results will paint a picture, especially the 2nd set when new CEO will be able to put his name to it. Kestrel have a decent record and have a man as NEW to keep an eye on things. Did they buy for fun? I think the risk/reward is good here now, but I have been wrong before.
Interesting to see his salary but most probably in stock appreciation. Target >70p for 60 days consecutively between Dec 2018 - Dec 2019. About 29p upside from 41p. Do a CAGR to get the idea if you buy now. Exercise not before Dec 2020. Now, I think 70p is in the bag before then and is not a stretch. TA suggests 92p as one stop and if they recoup business levels I see > £1.50. IF they get this right it could revisit previous all time highs and they must be managing for proper breakeven now with improved product and lame management removed. Buy & Hold. Patience needed.
Looks like a turnaround guy who's at a company on average 2 years. He surely can't be any worse than Richard Green. I guess Kestrel will be trying to find a buyer for Ubi as soon as there's evidence of progress.
£ must be helping and on what is probably 1x sales or lower and end markets being targeted are spreading. Buy.
delicious
These are interesting in automated forklift . Good customer base. Http:/seegrid.com/product/vision-guided-vehicles/ Could be an interesting partner.
Ubisense appoints European distributor to help grow demand for AngleID 19/08/2016 Ubisense Group plc (AIM:UBI), a global leader in enterprise location intelligence solutions, has appointed Cisper as distribution partner to help create a network of resellers across Europe following high levels of interest in its new product AngleID. Taking just minutes to install, simple to set up and integrate into an Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) environment, AngleID offers precise detection of tagged assets in defined zones, even in highly metallic environments. This makes it perfect for companies who want to improve processes and quality in manufacturing and logistics, but there has also been significant interest across healthcare, sports and transportation. Paul Garner-Evans, VP of sales for Ubisense said: “The beauty of AngleID is in its simplicity but also that it has such a wide range of uses. We’re finding that many companies have been looking for a simple solution to precisely track assets and or people within a defined zone or zones, and that is exactly what AngleID offers. Cispers’ team has an in-depth knowledge and experience of working in this market and we’re very pleased to have them on board to help deliver AngleID across Europe.” Leon de Ridder, Managing Director at Cisper said: “Angle ID is a very impressive product with huge potential and we’ve already lined up some applications that it is perfectly suited to. Ubisense develops world-leading technology that delivers proven results for some of the leading businesses across the globe and we’re excited to be working with the team to help distribute AngleID to resellers across Europe.”
Ubisense announced Namyang future factory facility win late 2015 and if it goes well it could be a real fillip to the outlook. I read the Paul Scott comments but without looking at all the news of the past couple of years the recent results don't give the full picture. The future needn't be like the past if enough opportunities are waiting to come good at the same time as they now have tightened controls. The weak pound will help too 'deployment at the Namyang plant should demonstrate our manufacturing solution for future roll-out across the Hyundai group.'
paul scott???
Did anyone attend?
Kestrel have a few people in place now that have had a track record at other companies Kestrel have had interests in. The CEO going will probably be a positive if they can find a man to take this forward and they might have someone in frame. They have more than enough contacts.

Don't have to sell too many to make a difference at $4950 for every sensor. http://www.rfidjournal.com/articles/view?14477/2

Haven't seen this as a product before and very interesting and says it's easy to instal. It explains CAS and Van Meter. http://www.rfidjournalevents.com/live/news/product-announcements/14279
some deep pockets waiting at 28p. that looks like the go to place for a double bottom. confused as to why the CAS and Van Meter deals unless they have some simpler offerings that a user can set-up and run with minimum help. they look too complicated otherwise.
didn't participate.. ...perhaps sub 20 before trend change?
There have been some encouragingly large acquisitions in the last couple of days. Check out the Regulatory news.
