Dont think so whimax.. price stayed fairly consistent all day.. stateside is the problem. Until that wakes up we are staying here
I’m not sure why the Yanks are so concerned about not being able to trade on the Nasdaq. I have an ii Account and I can trade TLSA. You just sign/tick a box for “exchange agreement” to do with exchange rates, then get on with it. It takes 2 minutes.
the other problem you have are the tax implications, and i think the BOD have no choice but to list Accustem state side too.
the sp is positive state side on 4626 shares moved $4.38
shirazkhan, That is also a major factor, being given an illiquid stock is one thing but how on earth do they trade it when its listed ?
Is it just my imagination, or has volume picked up this side of the pond in last Hour?
LBC- dont forget we havnt had a decent rns since middle of september so the newsflow hasnt helped. Hopefully that is to change soon. Ive asked one the american guys on stocktwits the reasons he thinks for drop in volume. Should be interesting what he thinks? Not being able to trade accustem on nasdaq cant be helpful
BM3, Apart from the demerger process which has been handled badly in my opinion. The decline started over there when the ADS ratio changed according to stats
BM3, I don't disagree with you regarding the (disrespect part) but until the previous (no clue) investors return and the volume likewise we won't be going anywhere. Tiziana has done absolutely nothing wrong to lose both investors and volume
Volumes won't return until these shorts end.that and the MM's on both sides of the pond have killed the market of which i really don't understand as i thought they were there to make a market.
letsbecool, in all fairness the BOD have been, as the call showed some of them have no idea (no disrespect intended)of Tils
If volume does not return on the Nasdaq post demerger I can see us being in exactly the same position for quite a period of time. Over the last few months we have seen any good or positive news totally ignored. It will just be like a restart for them.
Major work needs to be done to promote us Stateside for us to progress
I should add, in my opinion if they were forced to pay you when they loaned your shares out there would be bigger fees associated with traditional shorting and as such most people would find it uneconomical and cease.
In my opinion of course. Maybe I'll start a petition??
@davey, depends who you are with. ii only allow you to put a sell order in 50% above the current sp in most cases. I think main market might be 100% but not 5/6/700%
effectively there is, just put in place a Limit sell order at say £10 per share, that prevents them being borrowed to be shorted.
I wish there was a way of ticking a box that says "No, I do not authorise the use of my shares for shorting"
Personally, as is my own want, I believe that a certain, to a large element, amount of assumptions being espoused recently that the SP will significantly drop after de merger is being rather disrespectful to a very knowledgeable and professional BoD.
If there is a retrace I doubt it will extend beyond a week or two maximum.
A significant amount of positive news, updates and projections will be issued to not only support the SP but also to increase it.
These guys are no mugs and definitely not your average AIM BoD. They have taken actions like this previously in their careers.
If you owned 30 odd percent of a significant business I doubt it would be your intention to F Up.
It certainly wouldn’t be the way these guys intend it to happen!
Stay Safe!
