116p is v.close to lower bollinger band. SP has been to £1 at the lows this year. I still think it can retest.
Granted but it's still a dogsh*t outcome and an utter p*sstake for PIs, company raising almost double it's market cap? You can spout about how people don't understand the market at all but this raising action doesn't exactly scream 'super invest-able company' does it? Will have a punt around the £1 mark as this isn't settled yet, if it breaks £1 I'll perhaps hold fire and aim for lower but notwithstanding above rent I do agree that it's unlikely
its dropping back now. lets see if we see £1 and prove darientaylor wrong!
seriously people think with a market cap of £50mill and a cash raise fully underwriten of £90mill this was going to drop to under a quid...you should not be investing in nappies never mind the stock market
i thought maybe see £1 but its gone the other way.
Ted Baker today announces its intention to raise approximately £95 million in gross proceeds (approximately £90 million in net proceeds) by way of a fully underwritten Placing and Open Offer and Firm Placing of the newly-issued ordinary shares of the Company (the "New Shares"). Up to a further approximately £10 million in gross proceeds (up to approximately £9.6 million in net proceeds) may also be raised by way of an Offer for Subscription which is not underwritten (the "Offer for Subscription", together with the Placing and Open Offer and Firm Placing, the "Capital Raising"). The New Shares will be issued at an Offer Price of 75 pence per share.
the book runners took 5% of the raise and then scr*wed over PI's.
Were does it say 75p a share knowbodyyouknow
On the bright side this is now almost debt free.
The 75p subscription is available to holders, so actually presumably not.
There's a limited number of shares available at 75p, I believe.
So, a risky move, but sure it's possible in theory.
If you can get 118 in auction is it worth selling then get back in a 75
