With a £500m bid. Wait a day or so and maybe a bidding war will start. Fingers crossed
My problem with you is your chameleon attitude. The 'considerably richer than thou' attitude is an ugly look, especially when unsubstantiated.
It is unlikely that you are holding more than our houses are worth.
Thats what i thought, thinking of selling my NEX and buying SGC
very bitter indeed
CHRI55 why do you think the share prices have not levelled out so stagecoach is 0.36 of NEX which makes about 85p
If private equity’s are interested wait for a counter later today
You don't sound bitter at all Chri55. lol
So surely now If we hold NEX we are better to sell and buy SGC if we think the deal will be approved
So our great SGC adviser chri55 tells us that he sold 50% of his stock hours before the merger is announced. I can't wait to hear his next advise lmao
Still 5p below NEX *.36 share price
In action 80p to buy now
They will merge.
Just been announced.

Aspers
I can only see the 2 rns on 16th November stating 14th December, where does it day 16th ?
Not giving away much here yet?
The RNS was updated at 7.08 am stating deadline 5.00pm 14/12 from the one at 7.00am that stated 16/12 ,unless I missed something since
Just to clarify any confusion the deadline is Thursday 16th December for a bid to be confirmed.
As they say do your own research, corrected deadline day is Thursday not today….
Always put out at 7.00, so wait for the bid. No extension so they’re pulling out or bidding today
Sorry the deadline is Thursday, my mistake but NEX seem to announce most of their RNSs on a Tuesday. Like my company, gives you time to deal with investors and media the rest of the week. Let’s see what happens tomorrow
Personally I am hoping SGC walk away from talks tomorrow regardless of what is offered unless it is over a pound - share will probably bomb and I will add to my holding - always been a long term investment for me over a 1 year minimum period or however long it takes for me to double bag - the share on fundamentals alone is worth north of 1 pound - NEX know that and so do other suiters down the line - dyor etc
Not sure why folk are suggesting 60p if the deal does not go ahead.
Based on the last trading update to stay a separate entity is not a bad thing in my view.
