I looked in to this company when it was down at its low point about a year ago at 35p. I thought at the time that this company will do well with all the renewed construction work going on but then It went off my radar. I thought I would just this minute check in to see how it was doing and found that it is now at 85p! Should have gone with my instincts on this one. Even though I did not invest (kick kick kick), good to see the company turning things around. I went and did the same with WIN as well (kick kick kick). Good British companies. Lovely Jubbly. Good Luck.
Finally some great support for this super British Company been here through thick and thin. So glad I stayed and kept my holding.
SDM – The acquisition announced today looks very good. Their adjusted profit before tax is £1.8m on revenue of £42.2m = 4.25% margin. The business they’ve just bought made £0.9m profit on £6m revenue = 15% margin which is far better and so this is clearly an immediately earnings-enhancing acquisition …and it’s been done at a good price. £6m up front. An addition £2m in 2 years’ time if certain conditions are met. So they’ve bought the business for 6.7 to 8.9 x EBIT which seems pretty good to me. Additionally SDM’s recent trading update said that they were trading significant ahead of the same period last year. Therefore profit before tax will be about £3m and that’s being rather conservative. If that were the case the PE would drop to about 9.2 and the EV/EBIT to roughly 10.5 and, from the huge increase in PBT will flatter SDM’s growth rate / make them look like a high growth company, and so there’s a serious opportunity there. Thoughts, anyone?
Seemingly not on many watch lists, but may be of interest. http://www.privatepunter.co.uk/Companies/keeping-close-to-stadium-19-july-2014

Looking f/wd to this company establishing its way back to where it should be, got in at 70.00 a long time ago and watched it suffer since. Hopefully it can go leaps and bounds ahead now. Barrers
