Holding up pretty well , near to re-starting price . Which way does it turn ? gla @ The sack
Interesting trading occurring. Could go either way very quickly. I am in this Sack of Spuds for the long term Stubbsy . For me this was always about the acreage ,which I estimate as having a great chance of striking it big . It may be a very very long time . Total`s drilling will tell us a lot more ,later in the year or next year . Once Gairloch is off our back`s ;things will look a lot brighter . gla @ The Sack of
May have the chance to get more at this reasonable price later . Long term hold for me . gla @ The Sack of
Two £16k buys, someone is confident. Three times more buys v sells and we are down. Sigh...............
big buys................
Back trading guys GLA
Accordingly, the Company is pleased to announce that it is seeking the restoration of trading in its shares on both the JSE and AIM, and anticipates that such restoration will occur and trading will recommence in the Company's shares on or about 14 October 2013.
Production in the oil business is always long term. But potential is what drives the price of the stocks, If the assets show any form of potential and cash flow then the shares get marked up .
A lot better since , the SAC news. Initialy was concerned on number of shares , but apart from the $10million dollars of Gairloch debt which was generated by " so called interest " the shares being issued are accompanied with cash coming into the company, so you are in fact gaining an asset. I'm sure consolidation will be on the cards so point in the future. As I mentioned before the co post RO will have almost 27 ZAR cents in cash and near cash. And all the assets will be free from debt
Hope your well? what’s your view on all the new shares? I think it’s the best they could have done. i worry that there will just be so many shares in issue – maybe a quick consolidation to follow !! Are you going to go for your full entitlement – also can we have faith in the new board, following the previous issues? The first real assted to go into production will still be over 3 years away, a very long time on AIM. Interested in your views
Rights offer details will be posted to shareholders soon. The issue is by the way 2 for 1 , which means that you will be entitled to buy two shares at the issue price , for every one share that you own. I dont know if the share price after relisting will move upwards a lot because of the rights issue , however it should stay above the rights issue price. It all depends on the news still to come out re the Assets. The one thing to note is that the issue price is about the same as the cash amount per share that SAC will have post rights issue and conversion.
So we will get the option of 1 share for every one we own at 1.75p? what is the likely effect on the share price when the new shares are created? With an average of 2.4p is it better to hold and not throw more money at this? Will anyone be taking out the options? What do you think the sp will be in the after the relisting ? is there any hope they will produce oil in the next 12 months? all views welcome
Established in 1911, the Public Investment Corporation (SOC) Limited is one of the largest investment managers in Africa today, managing assets of over R1.17 trillion and still growing. The PIC, a registered financial services provider, is wholly owned by the South African Government, with the Minister of Finance as shareholder representative. The PIC invest funds on behalf of public sector entities, based on investment mandates set by each of these clients and approved by the Financial Services Board (FSB). PIC is the only investment management company in South Africa that focuses exclusively on the public sector. Wholly owned by the South African Government, PIC is in the hands of the public yet operates in a manner comparable with any private sector asset manager. PIC is one of the largest and most successful investment managers in Africa.
thanks whats you view on it? massive amount of shares issed but also a lot of cash that shoudl go into the bank. how will the market react ?
lol away from pc whats the gist of this ?
Looks like we have action and not as expensive re-capitalisation to look forward too . Good news for us long termers ,confidence remains intact . gla @ The Sack of Dreams
to how long they can remain suspended? Is it possible they'll just do nothing until the DRC asset bears fruit and then use that revenue to restructure the debt? Assuming that Total is carrying the rest of the development costs and that there is actual oil in the Albertine Basin...
So this parrot is not quite dead but why did the chairman feel the need to make such a comical statement : Mr Tito Mboweni, the Chairman of the Board of SacOil, commented as follows on the appointments: "I am delighted that this lady and gentleman have agreed to join the board of SacOil Holdings Limited for an interim period. I look forward to working with them in growing this business into a giant pan-African enterprise" I am filled with anticipation not .
I spoke to the organisation answering questions on behalf of SACOIL, they confirmed three new members have been recruited to the board ( very high profile apparently) also a new CEO, which will allow them to be re instated to AIM ( see news up date 12/0-7/2013 for latest information) they confirmed, without giving anything away as usual, this should all happen soon Hope this helps
