And still going up, now breaching the 80p barrier. Well I would have sold out (obviously below).... wonder where this one will stop?!?
OMG OMG OMG - have you seen that end of day auction! Value of £1M now that's listed as a sell and looking at the end of day ASK price I think I have to concur that it was a sell. There has been some 625 trades and majority listed here as sells (but on that heavy biased I dont trust it when you have that much weighting on one side) This thing could head south hard on Monday opening bell - I said this had hit classic stall point, especially as end of the week and also with the serious activities on the banks (I didn't know that at the time obviously) but people cashing in. My personal advise (and I'll be honest I'm CRAP at judging these and made mistakes) I would sell out my original stake and hold the profit for longer term gain. If it does drop then you can buy back in.... if it doesn't then you've placed this into a holding position with no loss. Decision is yours! Be interested to know what you decide though
Over the past several days this share has risen very nicely from when I posted at opening price of 54.4 to now at 72.25 and the spread is still very tight. I suggest you consider that some short term profiteers will be making a run for it and see this starting to slip a little. Start to weigh up your options people but I still think this is a very good long term hold. Just saying the signs are there for a stall.
Its alll gooooood!!
good desicion, welcome back!
looks like its going to rise again...
No problem, I didn't unfortunately as cash tied up in something else...... grrrrrr! See what I can spot for Monday morning :) As for how this is going to go tough one to call, as they've just been uprated think this will add and I think longer term this should continue upward climb, however, think there will be some initial profit taking at 30% up to start and depends on how much this sell off is! I'm not calling that one!!! lol
0721 GMT [Dow Jones] UBS upgrades Regus (RGU.LN) to neutral from sell, ahead of the company's FY08 results, due March 20. Says the company scores strongly on its net cash balance sheets, low pension obligations and strong cashflows. Brokerage also raises target price to 48p from 40p and says its cash position will be of more importance than the arguments on lease valuation when FY08 earnings are released. Shares closed at 48p. (ISD) This was by UBS 9/3/09> Can anyone elaborate on the so called lease valuation disagreement mentioned by UBS above? Many thanks
Just spent the last hour doing some research on company. Looks like it is still cheap. Any one know if they have any cash piles/debt issues? I feel like piling in tomorrow. Any advice welcomed. Cheers PS - I'll be making my decision but just want to hear from current investors who will definitely know more of the company than me. Many thanks
thanks for your input. I am open to take any helpful hints onboard...
spiritfinder, good day for us here today. should be a good open on monday. Tilly, get back in if you feel you should..we've all sold stocks only for them to shoot up afterwards. I know you researched and thought 61 was the most it was going to reach, and as you closed your position at profit then you were not wrong..hindsight and all that. At least it was a slow steady rise and not a rocket (which is better for long term gains imo), so you have the oppertunity to get back in and make some more. GL.
I go out for the day and the share I had rockets...lol Ah well, I got out with a profit. Might buy back on the retrace...looks a good long term hold, once the profit takers are gone...
yeah well done m8. FD didnt do the job for me today when i couldve got 55p but i live and learn. Wouldve been a nice return for a mornings work if i couldve got em. At least MEC is keeping me happy
