Buyer loading in the background. Need to take this past 30p plus for them to buy.
Seems like Tang could easily afford to buy REDX outright. Even if they end up having to pay multiples of current SP for much of the shares.
After hours TR1 showing Tang Capital have bought just over 3% of Redx. This is the same Tang Capital that effectively scuppered Redx's RTO onto NASDAQ via the acquisition of Jounce.

Time to get some movement again chaps!
Drip selling, inverted hammer.. think it might be time to push it up again.
Just saying ;o)
......and this is why Redx is leaving AIM and potentially moving to a US IPO. JMO Adyor!!!

The way I see post delisting...
Company starts putting together a revaluation in preparation for an IPO in USA (this is no different when it was a private company previously and IPO'd onto AIM).
The main difference is the company now has a built up strong client relationships with big pharmaceutical Co's e.g Jazz Pharma with the potential $870 million from the sale of Kras inhibitors.
The company has enough cash until 2025 from recent fundraise and $10 million from Jazz Pharma deal.
The company has already stated it won't meet UK residency test shortly after delisting as new board members to be appointed (one assumes US based)
I would have thought using comparisons of non profit making Bio-Pharma co's, that Redx could easily be valued at circa $300 to $400 million for IPO in US, maybe more with Jazz deal on the books.
The money raised at IPO would probably be split 2/3 rds to existing shareholders and 1/3 rd going back into the company, so no shareholder dilution in effect as new money at IPO with the new valuation could actually see existing shareholders handsomely rewarded for staying the course.
Aimho Adyor!!!!
I wonder what is going to go down after the delist. Clearly some funds need to be raised, but a buyout wouldn't surprise me. If so, I wonder what price you guys will get. Recent buying action suggests a premium to the current price.
Make that 13.50p at the close. 20p by delisting day...?
Maybe I won’t get it at 8p today might have to pay 10p let’s see.
Not many companies come to mind that just sign a MOU for $870 million and €10 million down payment with a company they think is not going to be around very long. Anyway Redx pharma have a tried and tested history of coming up with innovative products for the Bio pharma industry. Unfortunately AIM is broken and all the new money is in Asia and USA..JMO Adyor!
I suppose it comes down to the qualty of the business and management, do the other companies have huge milestone payments coming (not guaranteed offcourse) will redx stand out from the other hopefulls.
I work in the bio the sector on an international level and right now it is incredibly difficult. Especially in terms of funding. I know countless companies that are being forced into liquidation due to not securing funding. Many are also cutting staff.
If they can get funding they want a return on their investment which normally (not always) means dilution for holders
Be under no mistake just how hard things are out there at the moment esp in America for funding esp any businesses in the bio sector.
This is not scare mongering, it's economic reality.
I wish you all the best. I want pi's (like myself) to win. But the risks have to be taken into consideration.
I believe Redx will be one of to things. It will either make you very wealthy or it will wipe you out and there will be no in-between
I tbink Ramping/Deramping Rayte is just trying to scare novice investors, but the company can do whatever it likes, it's all risk on the stock market! Adyor!
I'm a bit of a novice at this, I'd appreciate if you could explain how post delisting that pi's would get diluted into oblivion, just say they raise from their exsisting institutional investers, they issue a shedload of new shares, does that not dilute the institutional investers to..? And the chief executive's holding, i thought the idea of delisting was to get access to capital from private equity funds, and to have a true valuation of the company going forward, and why would they bother screwing a mere 16% of private investors, we have a year (minimum) to trade these shares offmarket, i would hope a fundraise would come based on the true value of the company, milestone payments and other deals in the pipeline, and a listing on the nasdaq..
Which is what they still might do.
Julian Dunkerton bought 8 million quid of Superdry shares last year and 79p and look where it is now.
It's means nothing Moni. If they are awarded options in a new financing deal they win anyway.
But I hope that won't happened. But you have to look at both sides of the coin and this is no straight easy route to making money. There is still great risk involved.
But wish you the best of luck. And with that I'm outta here 🙌
Well why on earth would two senior directors just buy a ton of shares, they could have simply waited for it to delist and then as you say waited until it relisted in US and then jumped on a fundraising bandwagon or awared themselves millions of free shares?...JMO.
Mouni
I don't want to state the bleeding obvious but you have no ideas how this will go forward. They could relist on the US market but have stated they need more funding to drive their future projects and research. When delisted, they can make a deal with their two biggest supporters and dilute you to oblivion. It will not be the first time or the last. You talk as if this is a simple 'Im going to multibag' situation without highlighting the huge risk you take holding a delisted share.
As I have stated, pre delist you will see a sell off here, as holders decide no bail and not hold a delisted share.
Neither a ramp or deramp. Just plain old simple empirical facts
Don't be concerned for me, I'm just not a big fan of day traders jumping onto boards because they've bought in subsequently followed by out and out ramping on an hourly basis until they've made their 10%, only to spend the same amount of time and effort trying in vain to talk the price back down again..I'll be fine as my recent purchase will be more than rewarded in my usual 3 year time line, long after the ramping fools have disappeared from my memory. GLA Adyor!
I feel sorry for you Moniman. I assume you've just lost a packet on this and have been left a little jaded. You shouldn't take out your frustrations on other people though. It won't lead to a happy life.
Can you actually read Mouni?
It's like you just reply and don't take anything onboard.
Are you autistic?
Cloth ears
Rayte, the only foil on here is you imho. Why would anyone be interested in your buy and sell prices. Are you looking for a round of applause from Joe Public, as for Scmdcypxyz he's a bigger fool than you with his 8p post imho!
S dnmoxyz.
No I don't. But will be interesting to see either way..
Mouni
Make yourself look a bigger idiot than you are. You are doing a fine job. I have fully explained my position but there is nothing between your ears to hear it. You keep mentioning me. Why not stop mentioning me in posts and then I wont reply.
Stop being a sanctimonious fool. You are just exposing yourself to be a total idiot. Personally, I suspect you are a online troll. You have all the characteristics . Constantly online posting jibberish
So you do not think I will get any shares today in the 8p to 10p range.
Scdmpxyz you really are a fool. Let's face it you bought at 6p by sheer luck and then sold at under 8p.. I can't wait for the delisting so we don't have to put up with fools like you and Rayte, a couple of day trading chancers..!
For Real investors read this interesting article..JMO Adyor!
