Yes, really not an ideal development for PTR...we'll have to wait and see if these incoming sanctions directly affect operations but its certainly killed sentiment.
Dang it Putin . . . ! Wonder what the impact of forethcoming sanctions will have. Probably have to shelve these for the long term.

BP sticking with Russia as Ukraine crisis has 'no impact,' CEO Looney says"
I understand that a directors buy inspires a bit of confidence but the reaction to Mr Jersing buying 20 grand of shares seems a little over the top when the directors currently own over 27% of the company . I hope it is more than this which is causing the share price to recover a little.
Yes very prominent movement. Some of those guys & gals might only be here for the day though so I expect we'll trace back a little as it goes into close. For us LTHs though nice to see a director deal.
24% up on live price
Should be third @ 18% up. LSE haven't noticed. Director buys always inspire confidence
These levels around 3p are a gift, IMO. I am looking to top-up on a monthly basis to even out the fluctuations but the trend is up. Only geopolitical holding this back during Jan and it doesn't take much volume to put the brakes on.
there are 4 positive news in the last 4 weeks, but there's no obvious SP rise,
it seems the new buyers are run out of steam and the SP will drop again at the quiet period.
Mmmmmmmm!!! Looking good I'm quite optimistic.
Excellent propress. Nice to see more news so soon
Rns out with progress across both licenses it’s looking like it’s going to busy H1.
RNS today.
Loan balance revised to end 2022 - holders can convert up to this date at 6p/share.
Great show of confidence for the future.
This is very rare on Aim a management team and board that is clearly not here to shaft investors
It's slowly getting noticed not sure why it has not shown on the LSE riser board in the last few sessions. Low free float of stock should see this rerate quickly as the valuation to market cap at present is just a gift for any investor.
...and being well bought.
The overall total ask is looking strong.
Once the board show they are capable of upping production and the market accepts that their plan will work with regards getting the oil out of the ground I expect this to get the rerating it deserves, Fingers crossed for a nice ride over next couple of years that make long term holding worthwhile
Valuation $500m (£370m) for 2p resource and market cap only £48m.
Having released the news just before Christmas only now its starting to get noticed still early days especially when you consider the valuation for the 3p resource is $1bn.
Nice and steady re rate likely to continue as we close the massive gap between market cap and recent valuation.
it's stranger that since so many big names recommend PTR, why there's no new holdings over 3% be declared in the last 12 months.
i understand there are about 20% shares not in the hand of long term investors.
This used to be a share which tended to remain under the radar, but now I see the PTR symbol in much greater evidence and in particular with respect to the good future going forward.
From reading the reports by Miller and Lents with an approx 71 dollars a barrel oil price from 2024 the figure s show just over a billion of revenue to Petroneft on Licence 67 alone and that is after capital expenditure Mineral Extraction tax and Operating costs ! There is approx another 500 million on Licence 61 and that does not take account of future revenues from Emtorskaya phil45.
I topped up again this morning and hope to keep doing so as my funds allow.
Merry Christmas
Great interview $1 billion !!! This company is so undervalued one day it will get picked up by one of the big rampers on Twitter and will be 10p plus. Until that day I will keep buying. Gla and merry Christmas
For anybody interested there is a new interview with Davis Sturt up on directors talk
woodfromthetrees I suggest that you go onto Petronefts website and read the latest Miller and Lents reports for the two licences that Petroneft is involved in it will give you and idea of why many of us are excited by the prospects here. The production increases by 2024 are immense for instance not to mention potential profits and cash flow and also based on oil prices below current levels and the potential of Emtorskya is also there with both oil and gas but this will not likely to start to come online until 2023.
