Up to £2! That 48 % today. Helps Pebi position......at last
Mr mellon..what are these options being explored ?
Sorry mate you've had a major maths fail. You've concluded that our NAV has gone up by £1.175m as a result of the Recordati payment - which would be true, IF PEBI OWNED 25% OF REGENT PACIFIC. It does not. It owns about 1.1% of RP. So the impact on our NAV is not £1.175m - it is about £45,000, and even then you're assuming earnings that company earnings feed straight down to Mkt Cap - this is typically not how equities are valued, maybe 1/10th of earnings (or, specifically, Earnings / P/E ratio) will actually feed through to NAV. So the real number is more like £2k or something. Which makes a lot more intuitive sense. Don't worry, your were only out by a factor of 500.
Moving...
Commenting on the results, Jim Mellon, Non-Executive Chairman of Port Erin, said: "The Company's three principal investments continue to show significant growth potential for the remainder of 2015 and beyond. In addition, your Board is currently considering a number of further options which show significant promise in being able to eliminate the substantial discount to Net Asset Value in line with the investing policy adopted in November 2013."
10 to 15p imo
7p v 15.8p ??
There not going anywhere, safely tucked away
With an updated NAV of 15.8p (and rising…), hold on to your shares; the re-rate is underway
More to come.
Loomis like re-rate has begun at last.
Moving higher.
Looking good...miles to go.
Finally the penny drops
1.1m market cap, but huge upside potential with Summ tie-up. Get in quick before she blows.
This will fly today.
Summ up 71% on Nasdaq !
Summ up 71% on Nasdaq !
All good for PEBI
very nice. Really do think we are in absolute bargain territory imo.
On nothing again.
Moving slowly
agreed. I worked out the PEBI net asset value to be around 11pence now Interesting that Regent bought more shares in DBC at a price of £23. Small beer for our holding but every bit helps. In short action here depends on JM.
Bargain prices..imo
To see SUMM on the rise.
