How much does a machine cost?
This seems to be the machine Odx tweeted about after unboxing.......
https://www.biodot.com/portfolio/rr120-web-handling-platform/
...and it looks like we have two of them, reel to reel & it runs continuously! The end reel (after drying through the two black towers) is then loaded to a machine that cuts the test strip. That's the increased capacity sorted. When CK eluded it to being not fully machine based, the strips may have to entered into the cassette by hand? they would have to be entered the correct way after cutting after all. Is that the dept with extra staff?
How about the amount of money they will make getting taxpayers back to work by utilising cheap and effective tests? Terrible post.
Jesus Christ. Jaye Jordan the government are sitting on a bloody 2 trillion debt. They need to open up the economy. No-one is going to be selling these tests for £70.00. If they go commercial £13.00 has been talked about. They want everyone to be able to buy them ffs. If they get used by airlines etc there could be a mark up but we won't see much of it imo. I mean greed drives the market but really.
Quick picture. If the current testing Kits cost £ 70.00 a time including VAT in the UK and need a Labs to complete the testing before you get an answer. THEN !
1. Lots of people in the chain employed
2. Government gets 20%
3. MHRA get ? %
4. ODX Kit cost say £ 7.00 including VAT
5. ODX Kit Government and MHRA get a lot lesser in VAT return
6. Lesser people employed in the chain to give answers ( Labs etc) unemployment
Therefore Government don't make as much money on ODX!
AFTER ALL MONEY TALKS AND TAKES FIRST PLACE> ODX IS THE BEST WAY FORWARD FOR US THE PUBLIC !!
