Morning Doc,
Yes I agree with you; due diligence means that what they have seen must be worth doing. After all they aren’t just going to do MTR a favour here because we own @20% of them are they !!
Drill results will boost our NAV and naturally our SP; so longer term this is a better deal for MTR, as long as there is plenty of something in the ground.
That sale on Friday wasn’t a drag on the SP; it wasn't enough of a sale to warrant it.
Quite exciting to hear news on Sunday night if that is when it’s coming; SFR actually up over 4% on Friday which is a first for a long time.
It’s been a very long haul, me only 3 and a bit years, but fingers crossed this will be the moment for us.
For the past months I want to thank Forest for all his tireless posting at all hours of the night and day keeping us all informed, many times before MTR even release an RNS; top banana !
Well, have a great weekend all and let’s have it next week Tigers.
Thanks Docmonkeyman . Appreciated .
I think most of the drill holes were strat holes to inform the major campaign that will now be started by CBE/MTR. CBE obviously happy with what they found as they are proceeding. Think EM and soils were being done as well. Strat holes not normally exciting other than to geologists but agree probably some info kept for CBE’s exclusivity. The boring bits been done and CBE have cash and a listing so I am sure they will be drilling in earnest using that data for the exciting stuff.
Anyone know why the drilling announced in the RNS of 13 July 2020 has never been mentioned since ? Results ? Perhaps related to the Cobre deal or I have just missed them ?
Odd share this , management seem to have done the right things and made some good calls but it appears there is little belief by the market in the potential of some shrewd investments . Ok everyone is not a winner but that is the nature of investing.
Probably exited from GGP too early but so did a lot of others .
Thanks.
