"Why are we not pushing to return £350 million to shareholders" - HOW ?
Based on them figures £400 million approx by November next year.
Why are we not pushing to return £350 million to shareholders and then using revenue from further uplifts to search and drill elsewhere. Why risk capital and potential ruin shareholders if it goes pear shape. Its 25p share value with value added.
9000bopd at $100 is 900,000$ per day or £300mill per year, nett profit £150mm, market cap is a joke

Read this thread.
I only recently came to the party.
I'm sure it was a senseman post, caused me to read his past postings.
What a MAN! Sufficient said I think. Rest in peace. R
i recall some would complain re his anecdotes - and thereby miss the wood for the trees. regrettably the true value of someone is usually only appreciated when they leave the stage. it's like when a good friend leaves the city where one lives - the city suddenly seems a less sunny place
Me too,his posts were intelligent ,informed and purposeful, interspersed with interesting personal anecdotes of poker playing, truck driving ,feminising ,smoking and fun but he did not suffer fools gladly.Really missed
Cheers Divecentre, don't think I can trust my memory much these days after my response effort
DiveCentre, thanks, that's sad to hear.
Andy Kay's death was reported on the 17th September 2021 by Missdosh on this thread
Sad news about Andy. I will miss his contributions.
RIP--great poster --thanks for all your input and friendly posts--very long time since I engaged with you here--thanks AD
Very sad, but enjoyed his life in France. A person who genuinely understood the industry. RIP.
Sad news. I always valued his opinion and analysis. RIP.
Saving the company from destruction by escaping the clutches of the grasping bonbdholders would be a fitting tribute to the lad...
I bookmarked Aduk. Top poster who posters including me look to for guidance and clarity
Once the market realises the company is safe it will rerate
Often came here and would always check for an AdoubleUK post. Was as already mentioned.
He would be smiling reading the latest HUR updates. In a way, he was this hurricane board.
Rip and enjoy playing in the Monte Carlo of the sky.
Just dropped in to see the latest RNS and picked up the sad news on Andy, thanks for posting Missdosh.
He was a larger than life character and thankfully we took the time out to meet up with him in France as we passed through a few years ago.
As several of you have described, he was as he wrote, an experienced swashbuckling oilfield character. Very smart, parents were both Oxford academics, but he had chosen to go down the practical hands-on route in the oil business. He was part Indiana Jones (complete with Stetson anfd Hawaiian shirt), part oilman with an erudite wit and thirst for knowledge. It was one of those days you never forget, as he took time out to show us around his adopted town. Life needs characters like Andy, his ability to brighten the day will stay with us. I am sure as haggis_trap alluded to, he will be enjoying a wee dram sat at the poker tables somewhere on high. RIP Andy :-(
That is sad news about Andy. Not entirely unexpected as he certainly seemed to live his life at 100mph in more ways than one and frankly I'm sure he's rather go 'young' whilst still enjoying life than slowly decline into a decrepit old fart unable to do much for himself and not participate in the things he enjoyed. A clever man, a great writer, and clearly very experienced and knowledgeable about many things even if he thought he was about everything which caused many a lively debate . I hope he passed away peacefully. RIP you cantankerous old git. WW.
Very sad news.
The best contributor to this forum. Always added value and considerable knowledge to the debate which will be very much missed. Shocked that he has gone, which a measure of the impact he made here.

That is very sad news indeed.
Always looked forward to reading any posts he put on here.
From reading his stories I think he had a great time on this planet. Hope he had a peaceful ending.
Will be greatly missed
haggis
as you write, it would have given him a real buzz seeing off the scum
explains silence - thought was having natural break
life's a b*gger
So sorry to hear.
RIP Adoubleuk
Haven't been invested here for some time. Came on here just to scan people's opinions on the latest results and sae the sad news about Adoubleuk. Condolences to his family and everyone else who knew him. A genuine character with a passion for drilling and everything associated with oil and gas. He'll be missed.
rip Andi Kay.
Clearly a larger than life character : never met him but have a clear picture in my head after swapping numerous messages and subsequently emails. Clearly a lovely, well intentioned guy who was not shy to share his opinion and colourful life experience. Arguably he was the main man on this board in the old days! Delighted he lived to see the scummy "Mctiernan/Corbett" board disposed : a small victory. Hope he is enjoying poker with young hot french croupiers from a high...
