good post doggo and lets hope you do get a good price for Leap, just wanted to say it was 4.9 million but dollars not pounds and then we owned 41.15%, not to far off our present percentage, but every little counts, I'm more interested in hearing about future investment's.
Go ahead doggo. Guess !! I’m thinking £50m for Leap valuation.
I’ve been investing in private equity for many years through links with people who earn more in a month than I earn in a year. The high risk / reward expectation has increased hugely over the years so much so that a company who we recently invested in running a pitch expecting a 3 fold return in around 18 months also ran a 12month follow on investment with a guaranteed 15% return in just one year, total guarantee not just hopes. Less than 10% of those offered it actually invested with them. They all thought they could get better returns in other ventures, crazy, greedy?? Ffwd have been with Leap well over 4 years and have invested around £4.5m. If FFWD don’t get over £20m back for their share I would really be disappointed.
FFWD turned down £4.7 million opening offer for Leap in 2017. Do some reading and see what equity they held at the time..
Why did they turn the offer down? See US Supreme Court ruling...
Few months later IMG part of the Endeavor empire bought 25% of Leap. Why?
Few months later IMG create IMG Arena. Do some reading about IMG Arena and their scale & ambitions...
Few months later they start to create Official virtual sports. What possible benefits do you imagine having the Official license to create for example a NASCAR Official virtual from a generic racing game, an Official ATP tennis virtual complete with Official sponsor graphics on the game such as Emirates/Rolex etc or an unofficial generic tennis game. Which would a customer choose?
Take a look at IMG licensing see what sports they are going to create an Official virtual next...
Few months later they start to create a stream of slots (new game every 6 weeks)
Suddenly Leap gaming starts to appear on major sites...who got them on these sites..little Leap or the Endeavor influence.
A graphic appears on the IMG website with the heading The Global Family with three companies on the graphic
Endeavor
IMG Arena (owned by Endeavor)
Leap (25% owned by Endeavor)
No one knows what 43.4% plus a £1/4 million CLN is worth...
Any figures you see are guesses influenced by if that writer is holding or not holding FFWD at the time of writing the guess.
Read my first sentence again (the opening bid of £4.7 million when Leap was merely an idea/concept and create your own valuation using the clues above.
The market at today’s SP is valuing Leap at a current £2.5 million. This is either correct or incorrect. I’ve got my own personal valuation of Leap and you can buy/hold/sell/ramp/deramp FFWD as much as you wish, it won’t affect the price that Endeavor & FFWD eventually agree on.
Don’t ask for my valuation as it’s a guessing
