takeover news soon?
Kremlin seems to have no limits. Why have all the posts been removed ?
SP movement just relating to the big spreads, the big buy today was at mid-price, I wouldn't read anything into it. Next news is another pointless monthly production report followed by the unaudited 2014 results in March. Reserves update with probably be in March also. More bare minimal stuff from the stooge board. Big investors won't touch this company now, most of the volumes are just private investors with the odd few hundred shares. The failure to drill significantly in 2014 has worked out well with low oil prices, capex will have been minimal. The weak rouble / strong dollar will sort out opex. Will be interest to see how the tax escalator has minimised losses from the fall in oil price. Also interested to see any foreign exchange losses.
i sold my 888 shares to put in here couple of weeks ago...bid rumours for them today :(...o well, i'v taken a punt on exi, i'l stand by it.
Gambier is the expert on EXI. They are run by Russian oligarchs for their own benefit and only release the minimum info required. We expect a bid sometime at circa 240 but who know when?
to find news on this outfit....
Anyone know why as cannot see any news on it.
March I would imagine, along with the unaudited annual report. Still surprised by the failure to buy the rest of the share issue.
When is this due as i was told by their chairman, S Koshelenko, who ofcouse we can all believe that it was due in January????
There can be no outside bid from another group, Khotins stooge management would reject it out of hand. Khotin will have to make an offer to start any bidding process. IF he doesn't bid soon then a new reserves report will need to be published and he risks the general low oil valuation period passing him by. Maybe he doesn't have to bid now because there is a third, more personally beneficial, scenario we are not thinking of. With the newly installed information blackout from Exillon, we are now all participating in conjecture. Not a clue, sorry.
need your words of wisdom here. Any news /thoughts
of course...the play. Showing my proletarianism there...
Samuel beckett play. Godot never arrives i think!!!
what is godot? Thanks.
Lets see if and when Mr Khotin et al decide to make a move. I guess they could just keep milking it for themselves for as long as they like????
...sounds a bit fishy...if its not much to do with the value of the company, i'm surprised its on the london stock exchange?...whats the world coming too.
What drives the Exillon price has very little to do with its reserves or market oil prices. It's all about the game of bluff and counter bluff! You need to look at its history, who now owns the shares, their business history, and what's most likely to happen with east west relations. The price is just as likely to go down 50% as it could rise by 100%. Based on the factors you might normally use to value an oil company, the share price should be closer to £4 or £5. One things pretty certain, you won't see that sort of price but what could happen is someone may make an offer and if they do it's likely to be in the region of £2 to £3 and that's pretty much the only reason why there's any interest in it.
How the oil industry works. I thought this price would plummet. Due to the recent oil price issues, Exi must have loads of stores of oil it cant shift, or shifting everso slowly?? Any views?
Somebody clearing the book to 150p
That would be a reasoned conclusion, but you may as well give up trying to predict the behaviour of Russian oligarchs, anything can happen and probably will. Maybe Khotin is holding back because of his personal rouble/dollar holdings or maybe Putin has his foot on the throats of the oligarchs.
Three price monitoring extensions in a matter of days with some bizarre volumes and UT trades. EXI is a rarely traded share so it could be a simple liquidity issue.
One would think its a good time to buy as will get it cheap will little resistance?? If Khotin has lots of $ then he can do it as i assume he has but if in roubles then maybe not so good. Hard to know. Just wish they would get on with it so we can all move on.
£133k sb is confident
Surely the offer will be made soon. It's about time. Top up for me before the storm.
Does this mean anything??????
