I particularly like the trading highlight "including good trading in May"...
A good Q2 will do nicely as the brand continues to build...
Great post Lemming and totally agree. In addition, CI you make the perfect point. Those without shop fronts are going to transition from CV-19 the best. You only have to see that online beer, coffee and food retailers have been unable to keep up. Even someone like Dove Farms found their website crashing with people buying flour. Yes, mattresses are a bigger purchase but if you're spending more time at home you quickly notice the small things that annoy you i.e. rubbish mattresses. The shift in overheads is superb news and our new CEO knows how to market! Think it will take time but there will be growth from hereon in - SP has been holding up well in recent weeks anyway.
Agree Lemming. Unlike the high street burdened with extremely high operating and rental costs and reduced traffic due to Covid-19; retail will struggle. The consumer behaviour will continue it's shift towards e-commerce and Eve Sleep is in a great position to capture increase in market share with limited overheads.
Recommended post Lemming. EVE, is now in the best position after long time, and in very good hands....another little increase in sales which is not unreasonable to expect can put us near enough to be in profit for the first time and the market will take notice soon enough....IMHO. GLA.
I think the market was a bit negative on Friday. Great results though and very encouraging about the cash burn keeping low. Of course the company have to make sensible statements about the covid situation.
However; we haven't seen much evidence of ecommerce firms hit yet and there is over 5 years of money at this rate of burn.
Just to think when I piled in (after heavy heavy losses) and trebled up at 0.8p (slight smugness but still way down) what would the relative risk be today.
I'm going to say a fair amount lower.
Fewer competitors
Similar number of people that need beds although less moving at the moment.
Could be more moving soon as people escape lock down nightmares and separate?
I shouldn't really say that as I don't want to make light of it. (Just analysing and trying to predict)
I've certainly found that I don't need to watch the sp during the day.
Must be more relaxed!!
I think as we gradually climb the wall of worry that there will be prices that we leave behind for good. (There was a time a few months back where if it ever dropped below 2p it wasn't for long)
Funny thing, how share prices get stuck in a groove.
Look at the facts. Don't buy and sell as there's a big margin.
