Esquimo, putting few things you say together
Why would they contemplate surrendering now.
And
based on news releases as facts
So when you ask why surrender now, basing it on facts as published. The question has to be why, 11 months ago, did they decide to hand the mine over and not run the mine themselves? Why 11 months ago did they decide to surrender the mine? (As published in several RNSs)
EDL have spent the last ten yrs. developing this asset and generating customers, I accept that they tripped over their own bootlaces on the way but they are now at the point of generating good if not substantial income. Why would they contemplate surrendering now.
It's foolish to make wild claims assuming that EDL has failed, forecasting what they need to do to make the business viable without the necessary operational update.
If judgements are based on news releases as facts then wild guesses and emotional assumptions are not compatible.
BE54
You have an idea there!!! Maybe I'll contact them and ask, although I wouldn't hold my breathe for a reply.
Saus, maybe you should ask to join the BOD and give them your expert wisdom for EDL's future.
Aerial, you said "Guess you’ll be claiming you said so when the SP goes up!!"
I do believe this will come good, but we have to
Get rid of the mine, either hand it over and take a cut of sales or sell it
Announce a new investment strategy
Buy another company with extraction licence
Change Edenville's name
C'mon aerial, share the posts on the rainy season. You have them all saved we understand.
With no news this will be sub 28p by next Friday.
BoD need to understand we need the facts whatever they are, and we need them Monday 7am.
Aerial - you miss the point.
It's about your bigotted and arrogant responses to my post about the rainy season.
And if I could be bothered to find it there's an exchange between us some time back about the World Bank and links to the Interconnector project documents, so I clearly have no idea.
Why don't you share on here the posts you did in response to mine about the rainy season?
And everyone can decide for themselves.
Closing one from me as I'm bored of you - how many rainy seasons are there in the area of Tanzania where our mine is? And I bet you try and make some sort of joke out of it.
Indisputable facts Aerial, not opinions.
Oh dear GW you’re still hurting! Let me explain something to you about your indisputable fact about the Sumbawanga weather, they are disputable!! Still deluding yourself about your research and my research, but yours has to be indisputable lol
I’ll explain something else to you. When I invested in this share the weather was furthest from anybody’s mind and didn’t become an issue until they had problems mining. Bearing in mind other mines all over the world seem to manage ok. Rest assured there’s not a single person invested in this share for as long as me that ever researched the weather as part of any due diligence, and I doubt you did either.
Tell us how the Great indisputable weather researcher didn’t know an elementary fact about the company’s long term strategy, the one on the first page of the website.
Tell us how, even though you’ve been invested for years that you didn’t understand the Interconnector and the power pools source of electricity.
Tell us how you thought the CFPS was the Sumbawanga Sub Station.
Tell us why you advised in your informative Consolidation Post “More Shares Issued, Dilution etc etc……and PIs lose”
And you have the front to talk to me about the weather. Answer the questions!

GW Early January 2021
“Yes, there will be those that argue it makes no difference as the MCap stays as is, but in reality consolidation just allows the share price to get chipped away at again, more shares issued, dilution etc etc.....and PIs lose”
Looks like the cavalry has arrived. Good evening bigeye - anything factual or of possible use to other investors that you want to bring to the conversation? No, thought not.
Aerial - where did I say my research was superior? It's not research it's indisputable facts.
Still you argue against indisputable facts.
But the issue I have us not about the facts, opinions etc.
It's about your reaction to that post. I'm surprised it's still in the posting history.
Someone claiming to have been invested for several years ?-------certainly not someone masquerading as a KW yer havin a laugh company director.
How many tonnes?

“limited appreciation of the potential commercial impacts of the climate and resulting weather patterns” I think you’re on drugs! Lol
25,694 posts and that’s the best you have. You still think your research on the Sumbwanga Weather is somehow superior because you said it is :))
Read my 14:37 we ALL know about your research (or lack of) lol
Clearly you and your mate are obsessed with failure? but we know your view.
Guess you’ll be claiming you said so when the SP goes up!!
Oh and I forget about the Lind death spiral posts, I’ll have to dig them out !
Shall we start on climate then?
Invested in a Tanzanian coal project for nigh on ten years with limited appreciation of the potential commercial impacts of the climate and resulting weather patterns.
But to me, that wasn't a problem, as actually we should all be here to learn from one another's knowledge. Isn't that what these boards should be for?
It was your responses to my factual post that have to go down as the most ignorant and bigoted posts on here, ever. And still you have never accepted the facts or apologised for those responses. I'm truly not bothered you didn't know, but your reaction was just inconceivable.
Look at your post this morning at 7.45am - and you wonder why the bickering starts on here.
What ever happened to the factual and well researched aerial of several years ago, whose posts I and undoubtedly many others really appreciated, as it shared knowledge on our company? All it seems to be these days is snipe, try to undermine etc
Perhaps even you have secretly been worn down by our continued failure to deliver.
No there was your ignorance of the Edenville Long Term Strategy. Your ignorance of the intention to fully monetise the Rukwa coal deposit via development of a mine mouth coal-to-power project providing electricity to the Tanzanian grid system, and your ignorant Consolidation post to which you chose to ignore when challenged as you have a habit of doing, but seemingly again sos’s protector popping up at every opportunity I think even your ignorant shortcomings don’t compare to the $3.5 billion Australian Nuclear Power Station research lol
It's not the most ignorant statement I've ever seen on here.
Sausage
You have the gaul to question anybody’s facts, when you post the most ignorant statement I have ever seen on this board in ten years of your negative drivel.
You quote the $3.5 billion Australian Nuclear Power Station when attempting to de-ramp the Sumbawanga CFPS debate, and when challenged you said:
“It doesn’t matter what research you use”. … PMSL!!!!
It's like throwing breadcrumbs into a flock of pigeons...
We need news just to change the subject, clearly.
Same on a few other boards which have turned on themselves... - Aerial - don't even MENTION ARCM.... :))))
About to sign off the weekend... stay safe everyone and - SOAS - an eye out at 15.25...
T
Facts are facts aerial, you said "If no Friday RNS they will have failed" glad to see you coming around to my way of thinking. Have a great weekend all.
Aerial - re your 12.27 post - who are "we"?
It's looking like the same old keep quiet say nothing.
pi
They will get paid!
Alternatively the larger investors currently are getting sweet fa !!
I wonder if wages never turn up when they are expected to be paid.
Sausage
We all know your way of thinking is failure and negativity, added to the repeated denial of documented statements. Says only what we already know !!
Facts are facts aerial, you said "If no Friday RNS they will have failed" glad to see you coming around to my way of thinking. Have a great weekend all.
Well I certainly failed, I did expect something upbeat before the AGM.
However now looking at the remains of this Q to fill the order book, the interims and the commencement of the wet season. Plenty there for people to argue over.
Still no trading volume so news not expected.
Good top up price or entry.
Have a good weekend all.
