for the financial year ending March 2017 will be winging its way end of March/beginning of April Last years update was released 1st April
the drop, most likely lack of recent news flow as the market is fickle As previously mentioned the global climate is perfect for them at the mo and I feel their acquisition of Brimtek is going to do extremely well Article from yesterday adding more Trump wall rumours http://www.southwestbusiness.co.uk/sectors/digital-and-hitech/digital-barriers-detects-growth-on-the-horizon-as-trumps-wall-rumour-looms-15022017075255/
correction should read price dropped 1.5p.
On 1st march late trade buy of £15,000 at over30p. Since then only a few .hundred pounds worth sold, yet the price dropped t5p. It is obvious that with most shares already in the hands of institution investors that a hoovering up operation is taking place. Small PI's are selling. This will blow big shortly. Hold on.
Whats happening with DGB ? A 25% drop in a month, new low today, nu buying volume !!!! Why such a fall in the sp ?
DGB exhibit at the Sold out SO/LIC - Feb 13th to 15th: SO/LIC takes place annually in the Washington, DC area to reach the decision makers at the Pentagon and other government agencies. This conference is to engage industry and government to meet the needs of U.S. Special Operations and to interface with interagency operations to achieve national military and security strategic objectives. USSOCOM is looking for your products and services to implement emerging and innovative technologies in an effort to link information with allies, U.S. Intelligence community members and interagency law enforcement partners in the battle against terrorism. To help meet these needs, the SO/LIC exhibition provides the platform for companies to present new products in which U.S. military and international law enforcement, and intelligence organizations, can purchase to implement in this battle. As the global field becomes more lethal to the enemy, our troops must leverage and add what may have been traditionally viewed as law enforcement techniques, tactics and procedures to their programs. http://exhibits.ndia.org/solic2017/Public/eBooth.aspx?IndexInList=2&FromPage=Exhibitors.aspx&ParentBoothID=&ListByBooth=true&BoothID=160231
Commenting on the findings, Kevin Gramer, vice president at security technology developer Digital Barriers, said, “The US aviation system is interconnected, so it goes without saying that the USA is only as secure as its least secure airport. As the report suggests, randomization and unpredictability are key when selecting a people screening technology to defend against the insider threat, as they present less of an opportunity for malicious actors to “work around” them. “At Digital Barriers we’ve developed a technology called ThruVis which has been found to be 100% successful in independent government testing in identifying anyone wearing a bomb vest or carrying concealed weapons. In addition, ThruVis can detect other smuggled items made of metal, plastic, ceramic, powders or liquids. “We’re already working with the TSA in mass transit environments and we believe ThruVis is a big part of the solution for alleviating insider threats in all public transit venues.” To read a copy of the full report, click here. US government report examines insider threat to US airports The US Homeland Security Committee has released a new report titled America’s Airports: The Threat From Within, which discusses the escalation of insider threats to the aviation sector and potential measures that can be taken to reduce risk. According to the report, approximately 900,000 people work across 450 federally controlled airports in the USA, and many of these workers are able to bypass traditional screening requirements undertaken by passengers. The Security Committee states that while the majority of workers act responsibly, there are others that abuse their position. The report cites examples such as an attempt to detonate a bomb at an airport; cases of gun and drug smuggling; an expressed willingness to smuggle explosives; as well as employees who became involved in terrorist activities overseas. As a result, the Security Committee goes on to suggest nine measures to improve access controls and employee screening, devised from hearings, oversight inquiries, site visits and roundtable discussions with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and the wider aviation community. The recommendations include: 1) Providing better education to aviation workers on their role in mitigating insider threats and securing access to sensitive areas of airports; 2) Reassessing credentialing practices to ensure that individuals with access to secure and sterile areas of airports are held to stringent standards and are regularly reassessed; 3) That airports and air carriers should examine the costs and feasibility of expanding the physical screening of employees; 4) The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and airports should work to identify advanced technologies for securing employee access and work to further reduce the number of employee access points; 5) The TSA should implement the FBI’s RapBack Service for all credentialed aviation worker populations in order to rapidly detect insider threats and leverage greater government resources; 6) The TSA should identify airports where the relationship between the agency and its stakeholders is in need of improvement; 7) The TSA should increase covert testing of Playbook operations at airports across the USA, to measure current levels of security effectiveness and provide recommendations to airports and air carriers on how security can be improved. Testing results should be shared with airport operators and air carriers; 8) The TSA should strategically target its use of employee screening operations; 9) The DHS should be the lead interagency coordinator on insider threats at airports across the USA. Commenting on the findings, Kevin Gramer, vice president at security technology developer Digital Barriers, said, “The US aviation system is interconnected, so it goes without saying that the USA is only as secure as its least secure airport. Cheers Bonker!
Rudolph, do you understand what the products are and what they do? Do you know and understand who the major share holders are?
Ok Misunderstood your point. On more important matters, I firmly believe that DGB is really set to take off within the next few weeks. The main investors are experienced well known companies with excellent track records who between them and the directors already own approximately 80% of the shares. The company has already said it expects to become profitable in the next financial year. It trades in a 'niche' market in a very unstable world. I have never been more confident in an AIM market business. Many details available on the companies own website. I will not say good luck as I do not believe luck will not come into play here. As always with the caveat DYOR.
That is my point which you obviously didn't get. The polls were told any old rubbish and published it as fact. People bet on how they felt. People selling causes share price to go down, not what people say on a board. It's a buyer's market at present and they are pitching low.
If you had followed the polling and bet on the outcome of the referendum you would have lost money. Also never put too much credence on experts. They are wrong just as often.
As in the referendum, the only real indication of opinion is to follow the money. The market is marking down the share price to make a market. Perhaps people are wondering why DGB keep losing money when others like ACSO or Tstl are growing organically without the need for regular fundraising to top up the kitty.. They won't say on a board why they have sold because they can't handle the hostility which often follows.
I didn't say the forces were sinister, just that the SP has been dropped despite heavy buying. The PI is not privy to these manipulations, but that's how money is made. Yes, I'm a holder, I only post where I hold. And no, I'm not topping up yet, I'll see where we are in 3 months.
Low volume, mms looking for stops maybe?
What are these sinister forces then which will probably drive the sp to the 30 p level any day now. I presume you are a holder of dgb shares. If so are you adding at this level?
DGB are gaining serious traction following years of acquisitions and securing a large IP portfolio. A large border contract, like the USA / Mexico, whilst possible, is not just why we are here, this is a company building momentum and gaining significant orders from existing clients. ( look at the previous orders from these clients and see how much bigger recent orders are) The current SP action does not relate to the Companies progress, as we all know, there are other forces at play atm. Patience.
Without getting up & pulling the DGB file as I'm imbibing and relaxing on Sunday evening..... However, off the top of my head annual overheads are static around the £17.5M mark whilst revenue since End of March 2016 is circa $30M USD. $6m is forward booked into 2017/2018 accounts. So, 6 more weeks of potential further contract wins to take the Company into profit. Not forgetting unique & market leading products of course. Brimtek acquisition gaining traction & USD earnings. Lock & leave this one in the ISA.
What can you tell us about the main shareholders of this Company?
Is it just me or is there a huge gap to fill from 50p to 131p? ;)
Tell me what you know about DGB's products.
Don't forget 10 million credit facility as well
That was interim end of sept 2016 . EOY figures should be end of march 2017. Will watch with interest but not buying blind.
