Looking at the half year financial report the company have approx 6 months worth of cash on account, with a fair bit more that can be drawn upon in assets....... wouldn't you say?
Presumably they're getting up and running now, and not before due to the improved POC.
Their resources are certainly positioned well in exciting jurisdictions.

All be very aware of this shower, the big one was a company making asset back in 2021 check the 02-Mar-21 RNS, mining license to be applied for NEVER DONE, in 2022 processing partner looked for NEVER FOUND, what’s raised whenever this company goes back to the BIG ONE you guessed it large a cash and massive dilution, read up before you get sucked in company running low on funds back to the company making asset we go, if this was a viable asset would be mining it by now. STEER CLEAR.

“How about this RNS "We have loads of assets worth billions, tomorrow we will dig it up and sell it making the company and its shareholders some money”
Yes wouldn’t that be great, only another 88% rise needed and I’ve broken even 🙄
any news what these ******s are doing.
They have used those words again "generate value for shareholders"
You can generate value by making money. What's going on with "The Big One"?
So it's now January 2024, and I know they have a shut down period in Australia but this is ridiculous. Is there any news on shareholder value? Any news on how CCZ are progressing? Is there any copper in Australia?
@Jedster Sadly CCZ seems to follow a repeating pattern of ramp, raise, do some work, find very little, buy something else, wash and repeat ... having been on board and watching this pattern repeat 3 or 4 times since it launched on AIM with much promise.
Cangai has been owned by CCZ throughout this period and despite its JORC and clear promise nothing has been done to advance it and little or no talk of a JV until now ... why is that?
The Mt ISA area licences have been the focus of lots of exploration mainly at the Big One which came up with good grades but little volume so only suitable for mining if something else of size could be found elsewhere so onto the next big thing at Arya and virtual silence before we pivot again, repeat with possible JV elsewhere and now a strategic review and possible asset sale.
I don't normally comment on BBs that I am not invested in but I kick myself hard for staying invested as long as I did. I really do wish LTH luck with this one and hope it comes good, but I will be staying out unless something substantive changes.
ATB APR
Once I saw those words again I lost interest. "Shareholder Value" I call it clutching at straws.
How about this RNS "We have loads of assets worth billions, tomorrow we will dig it up and sell it making the company and its shareholders dome money"

Another crap RNS.
Again no interest from the market.
Back into my box I go.
Glencore shutting copper mines down.looks like Aus is finished as a mining hub .even the old chinks going to Africa now for iron ore. coal phasing out .only thing good in Aus now is the weather or in submarine service
When you read shareholder value in an RNS you know this is nothing but a stinking heap of cow plop.
Whatever happened to the big one copper discovery????
The world is short of copper and all these bums do is chase their tails.
I agree lootgaloot about Jensen. Lot of them down under. Like that Australia rugby manger

That teaches me to even bother considering Yahoo Figures as being correct. They dont know what they are doing. I wont try and explain but 27th Sept figures changed from 9M ,to 10M then 12M and then back to 200,000 . What the hell.
Lesson learnt ,do not use Yahoo Finance to produce correct figures.
I am referring to the Volume of 27th September (Weds) trading on Yahoo Finance website. Earlier it said trading had been
9M trading .now they have changed it to 10.6M . Strange that they are changing Yesterday's trading figures (on LSE) only
today the 28th ?. There is no trading reported today.

Price dropping news out?
Other RNS ,wages for nothing .looking at partners , i can't see the profit for a partner to be bothered to come in.
Thanks for the info aperoerson, sold majority only small holding left. They be running g out of cash soon
hi causal, from memory this is a rejig of original mre with addition of surface ****, tailings and mined/unprocessed materials. issue for me was always why wasn't cangai progressed earlier given original high 2.5% copper grades and huge jorc resource issued several years ago?
i would need a very good reason to believe the bod after so much spin and small delivery/follow-through over last 2 years ... is issue with cangai one of licencing to resume exploration and/or mining or something else?
atb apr
Can anyone make head of tail on latest Rns cangai mine .or just more spin covering for yesterday
Unbelievable error. I've given management the benefit of the doubt up until now but it's clear that Big One/Arya has been one error after another. Strangely, it seemed to me BHA was reasonably well managed (although not the result we wanted). And what about this guy appointed in January...
Mr David Drakeley BSc (Hons), an experienced field geologist who has worked as point on CCZ’s drilling campaigns in Broken Hill and Queensland, will oversee designing and implementing all future exploratory work across the group’s portfolio.
Should this guy not be on top of this?

I am soooo pleased to have sold out of CCZ last September after believing way too many of the things they have said before they hop onto the next big thing and spin that for as long as they can. How can you quote an NPV for something and then retract ALL of it not just correct it?!
ATB APR
More bad news they need to make better decisions to start with wher we go from here I don’t know I am running low on confidence with this company
I've not seen one of these before

Its also strange that there's no mention of the discount rate for the NPV. Anyone know why? Quoting NPV is meaningless without mentioning the discount rate. Is this yet another clumsy omission from the company? Seems a crucial bit of information to leave out. Maybe I'm misunderstanding something?
Somewhat disappointing. Only 6,266 tonnes recoverable from the 21,886 tonnes resource due to deeper drilling being uneconomic. CCZ say a standalone mining operation can be developed; I assume that's true but who's going to partner on a rather small resource? They'll have to go it alone? That will be another cash raise. They've also mentioned mineralisation extends to the southwest and down-dip. Good but how much is that going to add realistically?
I'm disappointed not to see any mention of the anomaly to the north which was mentioned as potentially greater than the current resource at the time of drilling. Instead, mention of 20 incremental resources waiting on the wings. The word 'incremental' suggests small additions to the resource rather than any big game changers.
Nevertheless, I'm happy to se we are finally talking about Big One again. I hope this is where the focus stays. I can't se us securing a strategic partner at current copper prices but at least we have something, even if we may need to fund it all ourselves with a cash raise. A long road ahead I think.
Any thoughts out there on.

I have just read the LISTING documents for Litchfield, now called Evergreen listed on ASX Australia.
From the Evergreen listing document, they said SAT Survey was USED BY CORE LITHIUM in 2022 so they are going to do SAT as well.
So, still puzzled why CCZ dropped Litchfield although history now.
Want to know what happened to Litchfield which CCZ wanted to farm into?
Lithfield Lithium 's partners were KDNC.
EV_Bull has just posted at 11am+ today, a research note and there are details of Litchfield, now LISTED ON THE ASX AS EVERGREEN with mkt cap of around A$30m. I think Kiran Mozaria said the price 3x since listing if I heard him correctly in his interview with Alan Green for June 2023.
Evergreen has done a SAT survey and has identified several potential pegs, continuous with Core Lithium [Mkt Cap A$1.8bn]. Just history to let ya all know what has happened to Litchfield that CCZ paid a deposit to JV into but did not complete the deal. I was puzzled and followed the story back to see what happened.
All history now. 6.7.23.

Just glanced at results again. Actually even the very best 30% at pH = 1.0 was a complete outlier. To be commercial at pH = 4, we need 50%; we are only getting low single figure percentages. Dead as a dodo. Need to get back to copper at Big One.
Bit of a disaster I'm afraid. Should be achieving around 50% TRE+Y under pH = 4.0 extraction. We only got 30% and that was at pH = 1.0. Some talk about sampling from other areas and moving to more expensive acids is just clutching at straws. Simply not commercial imo. We still have a relatively high value magnetic content but, judging by the tone of the announcement, they know the figures don't stack up.
Last post: lootgaloot, 18 May 2023 22:21
Falling fast on ASX. Now 1.0 cent, equivalent to 0.53p. So we could fall another 20% on AIM and still be higher than ASX.
I'm putting the latest falls down to disappointing Chinese economic data this week. The Chinese yuan is weaker and that's putting the breaks on commodity imports. At least I hope that's the reason.
CCZ really need to find a partner for either Big One or Broken Hill. I don't think we have enough cash to do any meaningful drilling so waiting on good metallurgical results from Broken Hill to attract interest.
Is anybody here??? Its very quiet are Castillo doing anything????

So another riveting RNS.
Hardly gets any investor interest as usuall.
If I read another, there are no shares the MM's are shaking the tree crap I think I may scream.
There are plenty of shares, nobody wants to buy them as Castillo don't know what asset they are going to chase next. Tomorrow it may be a chocolate teapot, and maybe Cadbury's may evaluate said teapot to see if it will give investor confidence.
Now I'm heading to Twitter to read even more rubbish from so called experts ramping crap shares. Good night.

On Friday 24th March this was the trading on ASX , of course before LSE opened;
0.0150 +0.0020 (+15.38%) SO it rose 15.38 Percent , yet it fell on LSE. How come ?
Market makers are tree shaking jester for shares
What does no shares to trade mean. Please explain?
no shares to trade just long term holders holding
Does anyone know when this ****** report from the bush again
Constant ramping from the CEo ,very similar to Neil Ricketts and VRS
Another RNS, another Optimiser... come on now tell us you are actually going to make money, when you expect to make money, when do you expect to stop drilling holes???? (Yes I know they have to)
I'm bored already of drilling drilling drilling. I want to hear extracting.

Nice to see the RNS setting this BB on fire, the interest now from around the world in Castillo Copper is not even on the scale.
I bet I could dig a hole in my back garden and get more interest in what I have in my spade from people.
I look forward to a non price sensitive RNS or just 2 pages to say something substantial such as we're making money, instead of another 42 pages of the usual.
Oh once we have started to dig up the Copper and started to make money. Then we can go after the rare earth metals and carry on making even more money.
If you don't all that's going to happen is dilute dilute dilute. With a share at 0.9 dilution is ridiculous.
I have an idea. Let's dig up the copper and sell it.
CASTILLO COPPER LIMITED("Castillo", or the "Company")
Optimising Big One Deposit
Castillo Copper Limited (LSE and ASX: CCZ), a base metal explorer primarily focused on copper across Australia and Zambia, announces that it has completed a strategic asset review which approved several initiatives on how to maximise value from developing the NWQ Copper Project in the Mt Isa copper-belt (complementing work in Broken Hill). Moreover, with the macro-outlook for copper remaining positive and several majors - including Rio Tinto, Glencore and AngloAmerican - active in the Mt Isa region (Figure 1), there is a compelling case to ramp up exploration activities.
HIGHLIGHTS:
· Complementing efforts at the BHA Project's East Zone, the Board has approved plans to assess optimising the Big One Deposit (within the NWQ Copper Project in the Mt Isa copper-belt) via implementing the following:
o Commissioning an independent engineering contractor to conduct a pit optimisation study on the viability of commencing copper mining operations, utilising prospective third-party processors and effective path to market
o Re-formulating optimal plans for a third drilling campaign and companion geophysical surveys to extend known mineralisation beyond the line of lode
· To recap, the Big One Deposit has an inferred Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) at 2.1Mt @ 1.1% Cu for 21,886t2 copper metal - with best intercepts comprising:
o 40m @ 1.64% Cu from surface incl: 11m @ 4.40% Cu from 24m, 5m @ 7.34% Cu from 28m & 1m @ 16.65% Cu from 29m (303RC)3
o 44m @ 1.19% Cu from surface incl: 14m @ 3.55% Cu from 27m, 3m @ 10.88% Cu from 37m & 1m @ 12.6% Cu from 37m (301RC)3
o 34m @ 1.51% Cu from surface incl: 21m @ 2.25% Cu from surface, 12m @ 3.44% Cu from 3m, 6m @ 4.79% Cu from 3m and 1m @ 9.4% Cu from 9m (B0017)3
· Post upcoming site visits to several targets - including Arya, Valparaisa, Boomerang and Josephine - the Board will rank the exploration potential then present the opportunity to prospective development partners in the Mt Isa region:
o Note, several global mining groups have operations proximal to Castillo's ground including Rio Tinto, Glencore and Anglo American
· Meanwhile, initial metallurgy test-work results for rare earth elements from the BHA Project's East Zone are due back shortly
Ged Hall, Chairman of Castillo Copper, said: "Following a recent strategic asset review, the Board approved an optimization study for the Big One Deposit which should ideally articulate a clear pathway to commence copper mining operations. With exploratory work ramping up at the NWQ Copper and BHA Projects, the Board is increasingly optimistic about the group's prospects for 2023."
