Cheers martbmth, I was reading that last week and makes for positive reading. I mainly hold green energy stocks and a few which I think will mostly drift down in the coming months as businesses tighten their purse strings and look after their assets. Looking to diverse and bids caught my eye, I think many will be looking for a light in this storm.
martbmth - have you got a link to the report?
Yep managed a couple of largish trades then had to buy small amounts for it to go through.
Well that’s me with a fair chunk, let’s see if this charting pays off. Not just invested on the back this alone by the way. Dyor and let’s see where the next few months takes us.
It’s possibly one of the few growing industries apart from covid testing kits over the next few months.
Nice one b-up, makes perfect sense to some. Similar happened to Afc, went from 5p to 25p in 2weeks. Big volume in trades from maybe 100-300 to 4000-5000 a day.
A lot of people do follow this, wish I was just that bit smarter with abit more time. Thanks.
Thats up to you mate, I wasn`t trying to brow beat anyone into using charts, I just posted it for those that do follow the technicals.
Good luck with your choices.
Count, I know a lot of people haven`t got time for charts, but I don`t really care because I have. I know the power of charts, I`ve used them for many years to `time` entries or exits.
All I pointed out is that for the first time in 4 months two very good signals have showed on the same day, and here`s the important bit for you and all invested......there will be traders who have noticed this early signal of a turn of direction on the chart, and may very well buy on the strength of it, even if its just a trade, because they look for these kinds of signals... more buyers mean higher prices, higher prices mean triggering new signals on the radar of more traders etc etc and so on, a self driving move.
These signals don`t come along every week, its the first time for 4 months, along with the highest volume day since 11th Feb!! Thats a confirmation signal.
I`m not `predicting` anything on here as far as price moves even though I do have my ideas, but if I wasn`t already invested and was looking to get in, as a chart reader, today would definitely have spiked my interest.
Since the crossover of the moving averages in November to the downside there have been 6 significant RNS`s, 4 of them positive, but none of them had the effect that todays did on the chart.
My goodness me Bottmzup....you can't even convince the Count. Charts mean absolutely nothing at all...did a chart predict Draper going quiet ? Did a chart predict Draper selling a chunk of shares? Did a chart predict us not having a great winter break? Did a chart predict a profit warning? So tell us all now Bottmzup....what does the chart say about tomorrow and the rest of the week?
By the way Count, if people discussed the charts on here one tenth of the time you and the circus have your bun fights it would make it a bit more bearable, thats why I have long spells away from this carp.....you encourage them by responding every 5 minutes, they`ve got you on a string mate.
Look at the bloody thing Count, even a non believer can see that it shows a turning point.
Now on to the important stuff...the chart!
Have a look at this chart and look to the far left, you`ll see that the blue 8EMA crosses down through the pink 14EMA on about the end of Nov last year. Also note that the Relative Strength Index goes down through the black 50 level at the same time.
Now look at today, and its the first time that the 8EMA has crossed back above the 14EMA since Nov, and at the same time the RSI has moved back above the 50 level....on comparatively huge volume!
A very strong signal.
