If anyones fed up at the restrictive versions of digital look available on tablets/mobiles ,using firefox in desktop mode gives a full information display.
I think most people use one or the other for free anti viral software out of these two: http://www.lse.co.uk/sharecast-news-article.asp?ArticleCode=24654265&ArticleHeadline=avast_software_to_buy_avg_technologies_for_$13bn_cash Personally I have been trouble free with avast for over ten years(if memory serves correctly!)
Matt the braves post on lgen board, only about 2.5% of legal and generals funds are specifically in property 18.2 billion out of 746 billion in total.
As with the sipp it is still in legal and general forever more, with the target aim being to gain 20% in shares through dividend reinvestment and to target sell at four pounds so probably talking about a four to five year investment period.
I think the objective of the pre retirement fund (bonds)is to preserve wealth in case of bad economic times in the run up to retirement. The global ethical fund I was in has done really well recent but rather than buy overseas shares that are now somewhat more expensive,I thought it would be better to take profit and put future money into sterling based investments. My bond decision was partially made by reading this: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2016/06/19/bonds-are-best-to-protect-uk-shares-from-brexit-risk/ and also the fact as posted earlier im convinced there will be another global crash soon starting off with European Markets with a house of cards effect. The bond fund has matched the best perfornances of the other 5 funds in the past five years at +60%,the only danger being rising interest rates but short to medium term,I think the base rate dropping into the negative is a more likely outcome.
hi guys been working all week so not been on markets......... well done Hot on Gold and for picking up bargains here and there. Got stopped out of three shares yesterday....... the biggest shock was Tullow oil with its massive drop...... bo ho.... also stooped out of conviviality which is actually bargain booze and my polish / Romanian lidli eastern European property fund all gone. On the positives National grid up like a rocket. Scottish mortgage trust shot up. Standard life European fund up. World diversified income funds up. Hedged short EFT funds up. . Also i have loads down as well................ Sbry llyods to mention a few . Still beavering away so wont be on for a while good luck all. Gs bonds are not a particularly good idea right now partly due to currency issues, plus surely its never good to have all your eggs in one basket. Doesn't your retirement fund offer a fully diversified options. eg combination of shares funds eft, trackers and bonds? Gl all
