I got one of my best paid contracts by having spectacularly polished shoes, so I take your point.
Conversely, I don’t suppose the millionaire, ceo and 20% owner of what could well turn out to be a mid tier mining company and operator of Europe’s largest and most profitable tungsten and tin mine, gives a flying whatsname of your opinion.
No offence meant.
When considering someone, you might look at the CV. MM’s is impressive.
Steve peters Chimp paradox is a good read
It's the reason why not everyone makes money in investing. Don't be a chimp or muppet.
I think the comments about MM are missing the point and very much out of context. If I was looking to appoint someone (professional) to my team I will make that decision within 90 seconds (max, and statistically valid) of meeting them, most decision are made in less than 20 seconds (plenty of scientific papers on it and books). It is a basic, survival instinct ( chimp). Once humans have made such a decision it is incredibly difficult to undo it. So, in reception are sat several candidates. Let's say 5 on the short list for interview. One had a casual shirt, one didn't do up the top button under a tie, one wore shoes that weren't polished, one forgot the essential documentation (Exam Certs, Passport, etc). The other was smart, crisp, thought about the day ahead and the potential employer, paid attention to the detail, had a good handshake and smile. Looked the part. So, my chimp is kicking in and not one of them has spoken and I have no idea who is who yet. Already I am making decisions about who I will employ. To now undo that they would really have to f' up. Or I have to undo vast amounts of confirmation bias, and the chimp will not let this happen easily nor will it return to its cage quietly. So add MMs appearances to his verbal diarrhoea and you get where some people are coming from, people have made up their mind. For right or wrong. I have not been impressed by MMs presentation on far too many occasions. Some appear to hold a similar view. The chimp is one mega brain beast to overcome.
Safety your forgetting the observation of MM in need of a haircut and his oratory prowess. All of which must have been interpreted as being essential for mining tungsten. I wonder what the next topic is?
Tailings? What tailings? Did the infrastructure ever get resolved?
Cookie. There is no interest in this share. Whilst Tungsten prices continue to slide there wont be. I have given my reasons why already, each to their own. TT, gold....that has become a joke. Priced in now? Probably take us back to the 3s if he released the results now ha ha
Safety, I agree with your post, BUT he was saying that a CLN might exist within the current Blackrock funding, because WE cannot see the detail of the funding, which is NOT true, since a CLN would have to be reported to shareholders.
Apologies guys. I just woke up and it takes time for the mind to settle. You are, of course, correct, they makes stuff up.end of.
DH. Indeed, anything could happen.e.g Given the chances on alien life from other worlds, we could be faced with an interplanetary war for tungsten resource with the copper people ( green blood). Once you allow every possibility into an argument then you are lost. An electron can be in all places at the same time, it’s just more likely to be somewhere. Nonsense arguement. Perhaps we could do the old ‘whatever happened to the tailings’ argument that’s been done a lot. We could do re run of MM’s shirt collar bring open as a reasoned incite into tungsten mining at la Parilla, that one was done a few times. The reality is, everything exists within a probability which we take as a way forward where that is shown to be high enough. To enter into all the possibles with very low probabilities is an absurd way to argue. All imho, of course.
