To be honest when he said there would be no raise...I was suprised...with all the products going forward...the company needs money and while sp is high perfect time for placing. I thought it was mischievous to say no raise...uk or otherwise. However feel comfortable that company is fully funded for next 2 years....and comfortable with my investment
Exactly, he cant provide a confirming statement to manipulate the SP rise on Friday, dont get me wrong, I am grateful it did, but he still did a very sneaky move, and its such a cop out excuse to say he didn't say UK. how cares if its US or UK, they both move in parallel.
Alwaysone, it WASN’T mischievous at all. In the Q & A he was asked a question about raising cash and had to answer it. He answered it like a master imo, by stating there were no plans to raise in the UK.
If he had said “we might have plans but I can’t discuss it” do you think we’d have had ANY kind of rise in the SP on Friday? NO, we’d have been back at £1.50 on open and probably finished around £1.30.
This placing is an absolute master stroke imo.
What he said and last week’s RNS would have been better not to mention no UK raise and then immediately do a US one. It’s a little mischievous imo but will move the company forward on all the projects. Nothing on Stem though....even if due to be spun off
Been thinking of the initial ATM extension which expired 31st of July, but not a new ATM facility agreement at 57M. This move explains the reason of change the ADS ratio then, the BOD seems has planned this a few weeks back.
The CEO did NOT lie. What he said was that there were “no plans to raise in the UK”. We were already in the midst of a raise “of sorts” on NASDAQ, they have just taken additional advantage of the situation, which, for me, is a brilliant move, considering the near term inflection points we have here.
I swear the CEO Kunwar Shailubhai, said they will not be required to or plan to, raise any equity and have enough cash to last well into 2021. two days later and here we are, another issue of equity. Anyone else thinking the same?
