Pain relief permeated more quickly through #Labskin than human skin in vitro. This is comparable to a pig's ear tissue, which is the closest animal model to human #skin and is a major step to remove animal tests for drugs through human skin.

Fair comment WHL and I agree that would be the case with most legislation but the only 'special interest groups' I can think of would be the suppliers of animals to test centres and the centres themselves. I doubt many Senators would hold an interest in that type of business. I could be wrong but I'm happily invested regardless of the outcome.
Before it gets to a President for signing there are numerous special interest groups in the US that could influence this law and how it is drafted.
All I am saying is it’s early days and lots can influence this. It hasn’t even been debated in Senate or Congress from my understanding.
Just to add, name me a President that wouldn't sign this off as law?
"I know there's cheaper options available but keep testing on animals, it's a no from me."
Yes, it's coming WHL. Who could justify testing on animals when there are cheaper options? To pay more to test on animals would be a pretty sick choice. Worst case scenario now for companies is that Skin can't do your testing in time.
In my last message coming = approved and law.
You know it’s coming 100%? Lots of bills get put forward but not approved.
I agree that it should be adopted but when is the question for me.
It's irrelevant when it becomes law WHL, it's coming so companies need to find alternatives now. If you want to be successful you need to be profitable and being inhumane in today's society won't cut it. Our testing methods are cheaper and animal friendly, why wouldn't you choose Skin?
From my understanding this isn’t law yet as still needs to be read by committee on Health Education Pensions and Labour, approved by Senate, approved by Congress, sent to President for signing and only then becomes law.
It’s a first step but a way off becoming law yet. Plus no guarantees it actually gets passed.
This is more than big Chris.. It’s the perfect news. We better up our sales team in the U.S!
