@GButts I would 100% support you there selling on a commission only basis - at this stage what do we have to lose?
It's funny when I suggested the company needs to increase it's sales people at the beginning of 2019 I was laughed at by members on here asking what experience I have in this industry saying how ' complicated ' and 'specialist' our product is and to leave it to the 'experts' at QFI and 'partners' .. well hows that working out for QFI so far?????
But in fact the truth is (and anyone who has any knowledge about sales) that commercial professionals who can sell - as long as they're trained fully, can sell - in fact the only people who can't sell it is evidently QFI!
An as for the argument that we have signed partners to sell it for us JGC, Freepoint etc this is also clearly not working and additionally they are working on many other projects - not exclusively QFI. What QFI need is specialist Business Development Executives who can focus on specific areas eg Middle East, Latam etc and work on a reasonable salary but (mostly) on a commission basis.

In a nutshell. The world is crying out for 'clean' fuel. We've got it had it for a long time and still can't sell it. After the Maersk debacle( and their attitude of a spoilt child)and looking around the Multi National companies (especially in the shipping industry it seems) they just do not care.
I am extremely disappointed in what has happened here over the last six months but I only have myself to blame in believeing(eventually) they would get it right. I dd manage to sell half my holding at 3.6p but replaced them yesterday around 2.77p thinking it still really is early days in the context of the funding raised. I am getting to not look forward to the end of the day when as sure as clock work an automated trade comes in at the low of the day.
Disgruntled but I have got my health which is priceless. Have a good weekend all.
I was attracted to Qfi after being told about it by a former Merchant Marine Captain who also believed in the concept.
The case for a lower cost environment regulation compliant fuel (with scrubbers) has never been stronger.
I believe that I could close a few sales given the opportunity to learn more about the product at the research facility and,as I have considerably more shares than the chairman I may consider offering my services on a commission only basis when I return to the UK in spring. Frankly I'm running out of patience and faith.
Ps if I was presenting a message for broadcast I think I would try very hard not to mix up CEO and COO
