Nothing!! I don’t have any and doubt I ever will
Maybe ask the question on a crypto forum! Just saying!
We did not get an answer to possibly still wondering just what happened over the past few days...
Bitcoin is in a bear market. Let’s not beat about the bush, or try to spin it. The price is falling – it fell 10% just while I was asleep last night and it’s already almost 40% off its highs.
If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck. It’s a bear market.
So what happens next? How long does it go on for? Where does it fall to? And, most importantly, what do we do?
Crypto is seriously popular with the young. I hold some, have made good profits. Although I tend to deal in blockchain such as Arb which is linked to crypto currency’s.
You can cash crypto
should read "former" not "latter"
FWIW, I became interested in crypto and decided to dip my toe in the water, investing £500 in an Etherium tracker in December 2017. Within a year it had dropped in value to around £85. Now worth over £1,600 but even if I wanted to HL have ceased the option to buy any more. Can hold or sell and I will do the latter for curiosity. It was easy for me to hold when value dipped as the sum involved was little, however, had I invested £50k, I would probably have panicked and sold out somewhere on the way down in 2018 and missed the huge growth since.
I guess what I'm trying to say is it is very volatile and comes with additional security risks, which when coupled with the lack of tangible assets leaves me thinking it's not for me.
Why buy into something you cannot buy a pint down the pub with. A great many of the younger generation that drink in my local are buying/selling Crypto and all learning to be gamblers, they feel they cannot lose. The consequences when Crypto pops will be catastrophic for a whole generation. Hmmm and who do you point the finger at..........
