Agreed.
The only trouble is that the alternatives are now redundant and I would like to see a united Ireland. Fortunately I have other alternatives who are worth following and if I was in Kerry I would be voting for the Healy Rae brothers.
I like the fact that they make a total fool's ding-dong of the Dail. It seems one of them keeps getting phone calls during his presence which is driving some in the Labour party mad.

Nothing like a pair of rebels to shake the place up.
Sobeit, one of my local TDs is Dessie Ellis. The shinners say all the right things to an increasingly disenfranchised young population struggling to get on the property ladder.
Me I'm older, I still remember the horrific Hyde Park bombing of which Ellis had his fingerprints allegedly found on part of the bomb cache . Could never vote for him.
Just to underline my previous point that Sinn Fein are now in a strong position The Morning Star has endorsed that.

If this winter is a total f/up with people freezing, blackouts etc the chance is that we will have a general election in the spring of 2022. You only need a swing of three TDs to join the opposition to make that happen.
Then Sinn Fein will become the largest party both North and South and all hell will break out and since Sinn Fein is only interested in a united Ireland they will be happy to see things like the Barryroe development taking place as it is not on their agenda and they are all for self-sufficiency.
As for Ryan, he is praying that the rising cost of gas and the loss of commercial CO2 is only short term, as he has claimed, quote: ""We will have to intervene in the budget. We'll come forward with specific measures to address this very significant but hopefully short-term problem."
If he is wrong, he is for the birds.
Irish citizens unlike the french doint protest in enough numbers to gov policies and therefore the gov of the day has an easy ride
Will take a severe winter with shortage of heating fuel and electricity blackouts before citizens start to cop the fck on that our muppets at the helm not fit for purpose abd are only mere messinger girls and boys for their franco/germanic masters leaving Citizens to pay for their incompetence and expenses.
