Down 60%
A few weeks before corona virus I said to myself should I sell all my holdings? I’m happy with what I’ve got I’ll sell the lot and watch the markets for a while. 2 weeks later it was 60% and I’ve not made a well timed decision since I don’t think! lol anyway I’m in for the long term recovery now, nothing under £1 will do me
I feel like that some days Rookie, all the hedge funds ring each other and short the market when they know I have bought in!
Sorry guys I bought in today so that’s the reason for the drop
Quote from the article
"Rockhopper’s initial assessment of the Sea Lion development project’s scope, revealed in September, estimated development costs of US$2 billion, while the company expects to have US$100 million in the bank once all drilling costs have been accounted for.
That initial plan assumed first oil would occur in early 2016. It estimated that the field could achieve maximum production of 120,000 barrels a day by 2018."
The article is quoting forecasts into 2018!!
Correction - I was misled by mention of Covid on the same page .
Although there's no date on it, I think it's a recent article.
No this is very old news re: RKH. Check before posting!
I used to hold shares in RKH and got burned unfortunately. This article is from around 2011 because that's around the last time the share price was anywhere near 300p (as referenced in the article). RKH shares are circa 8p today.

You wrote :- "Because Cairn are interested in RKH."
Where did that come from ?
Because Cairn are interested in RKH.
Your right Kracken it would the rumours could only put a bit hot air underneath our wings, hopefully only just rumours.........
It's helped Rockhopper more than Premier
Totally agree Grippa but it would certainly prove PMO is way undervalued
Chris Oil us untrustworthy as they come has blocked me for saying so. This would be disastrous for premier to be bought out anywhere sub 150 which I highly doubt it would be anywhere near. I fully expect the board to oppose any offers made by Apache they has been years of hard work to get to where they are all they need now is for oil to play ok and there going to be a totally different company in 2 years time. The present market cap is not a great deal more than what Zama alone could of been sold for a few months ago.
