Stop tempting me Steven. Lol. We all have pivotal moments in life where things would have been very different if we had taken a different path. "Turn a different corner and we never would have met". Atb.
Just put a fiver on it Gordon go on! :)
In fact I wish I’d done that when I started messing with the stock market lol
TWB. Yup. Hopefully sooner.
Thanks for the response earlier Gordon, not far off is it. Atb.
Make that 3. Guy's a 24 carrot plonker.
Had to join you I’m afraid! First for me
ps. Don't be a t**t all your life. Have a day off
Macca. I've encountered a lot of earache over the years on this board and never felt the need to filter anyone. Congratulations, you're the first. Bye.
And the MD is very confident about the new drilling techniques.
:o)
________
"We've done a significant amount of work in looking at how to effectively stimulate the wells to increase the Gas flow rates from the low flow rates of the past, to commercial flow rates of the future"
"it's not a complex process"
"to increase the Gas flow rates to very, very, commercial rates"
Thanks Jasper. Ultimately, of course everthing depends on the success of the new drilling techniques. Atb
Gordon...from what I have gleaned the GOI have been kept abreast of the matters relating to the sale, and may have made some stipulations with regard to the future development of the field (investment & time). I would strongly suggest this has been communicated to any potential JV partner which in turn will form the foundations around the discussion of not only 'buy in' price but also future well costs and development to make the gas recoverable commercial.
Yes Jasper. You'd think the GOI approval and finalisation of the sale would come in quick succession, maybe even I the same rns. You would also think the jv will be ready to go and that rns would be not long after. Atb.
In recent correspondence I have received from Oilex, they have confirmed they are working to maintain the schedule as per previous announcements. This tells me that there will no doubt be a lot going on behind the scenes to conclude the transaction. Having been involved in many acquisitions myself this process tends to be driven and dictated by the legal process. Lawyers love a good negotiated sales and purchase agreement with all the relevant warranties and provisions.
Hi TWB. Quarter 2 runs from 1st April to 30th June. Atb.
Nice Jasper.
Regarding News - can anyone tell me when Q2, this quarter, is supposed to end? As we are expecting a couple of big announcements this quarter (as per RNS) and I'd like to know how long they have until this time elapses. I suppose we will get some sort of update in the general meeting early June too. However, from a communication perspective, if they are not going to hit the deadlines outlined then they need to keep momentum / investors informed. I'm holding regardless but I want to see good communication from the board.
Very good article to read....
