GLR..nicely balanced post.As you say,all will be revealed. So much bedwetting and whinging going on here from the daytraders, many of whom must be over-exposed on this stock and panic at every turn. We've just got clarification of the 1st sovereign test,.numbers and figures will follow.Covid will still be here in a few days, weeks months and years,so will the newfound need and reliance on diagnostics, and so will ODX.Hold or buy if you believe, sell and move on if you don't..simple.
strength in SP ?
down 2.75%
price will be strong ONCE we finally have an orders RNS
"At what point would the UK GOVT call Omega and tell them to start producing the SureScreen tests? 4pm?"
think it was a bout March/April O'clock they started to partly build surescreen tests.
Thought id do a post here as Omega seems incredibly close now to fulfilling its potential
So the announcement was around 3pm yesterday afternoon
At what point would the UK GOVT call Omega and tell them to start producing the SureScreen tests? 4pm?
What we know
- SureScreen has passed and been approved, this is the first soverign test
- ODX are already assembling this product
- ODX have a contract to provide upto 2m tests per week (unsure of the margin but lets go with 30%)
The annoucement pretty much certified the above... but as investors we want certainty so we await the official RNS
If this was old news (it wouldn't have been published on the GOVT website)
If ODX were simply pouching only and not producing... that doesnt make sense as we currently have an LFT shortage and the contract was for manufacturing not to mention ODX has GOVT equipment
So I really dont see, how this can pan out any other way than
- ODX start manufacturing upto 2m tests per week as soon as TT is complete, if it is already complete then from tomorrow or next week
Lets see - I think the strength in the SP this morning says it all, traders will jump out but nothing has changed just because there was no press release at 7am, ODX have remained quiet on twitter and they are usually quick to put any rumours to bed
A negative would be a lengthy TT process, but at least it would provide certainty, e.g. no production for 6 weeks, be nice to just start producing from next week and get the revenue flowing
We will see, but again I dont see any a scenario where ODX are not producing millions of tests at some point in the next 6 weeks
