I'm invested in the ventures and the projects that in time could lead to significant value - you have applied ZERO value to this work.
I'm also invested in future sentiment to mainstream blockchain technology.
It's a very basic share valuation to rely on past income alone.....this is your approach
I repeat - why do you feel the need to bash this share for investors? You must be getting something from the effort you have put in, be it financial (shorting) or personal (bitter at a loss or just wanting to be right?)
I've spelt out my reason for being here, please be honest now on your motivation
Cheers
Bennster
I assure you I don't hate this share.
I just think that there is absolutely no and I repeat no logic to its current valuation.
I see no point in people getting burnt in a situation such as this.
Where am I wrong? Would you like to spell out exactly what income Online has?
If you do any homework you will see it has none.
It survives on paltry equity raises.
I repeat Spell out what you are investing in?
Interesting that I can both buy and sell at 51p while the quote is 47p - 50p.
They will pay 51p for a good lump of stock, so the demand is there...
I always wonder about posts like this. You hate the share so it's totally illogical you hold any.
In that case why post here? You must have a financial interest....
So that means you're a trader or a shorter (or Mother Theresa's ghost trying to save the world)
In which case why should anybody listen to you? If you were right it would be 20p already.
Please shout if I've missed any other interesting possibilities
Be careful. Or take comfort from the fact the you will probably be able to sell these at 20p. I repeat they have no income and virtually no assets save their stake in ADVDN.
DubJon, I know the shares in at least some other blockchain-related firms abroad dropped 10-20%, even 1 or 2 I can think of that were supposedly highly thought of. On the crypto, I started to sign up to another firm's exchange but they wanted all my details like an upload of photo ID, so I backed out because sensitive data on databases and ID theft (happened to me before) puts me off these days. But I will have a look at the OBC one you mentioned. Many thanks and best of luck whatever you decide to do, in or out.
The limited amount of shares in one of only a few quoted blockchain companies makes OBC a volatile share..
Personally, I love a volatile share....just got to be careful not to buy at the top of the spikes! I sold out on the last big spike, and now back in positioned for the next even larger spike...well that is the plan anyway.
From what I am reading on this bb, quite a few posters have not done enough research into what OBC actually do.
I guess I have an advantage as I have been following them for years...along with AFN (=ADVDN)
I have learned plenty about crypto, wallets, mining etc from their freefaucet site recently https://freefaucet.io/login/
Sign up and have a go - It all costs nothing.... A good tool for getting to grips with the basics, and building a (free) tiny crypto holding in various coins, including Bitcoin and Ether. Users can earn crypto by using daily faucets, or answering surveys etc.
They also have a Pay to click (PTC) network, where users can earn small amounts of crypto by clicking on targeted ads, etc ....I can imagine a whole industry growing up around this concept.
For a look at their projects try here: https://onlineblockchain.io/
Yes, it all looks a bit amateurish, but a quick facelift would make it look much slicker
Currently about 15m shares in issue..... and we are due some news on the UMBRIA defi project.
The potential is there. Only a few blockchain companies listed are on LSE (ARB, TRD, OBC and one other)- when the main herd arrives to get into a company with only 15m shares in issue, the results can be spectacular. Hopefully, we will soon get to witness this...
Dubjon, lots of stuff in your post many wouldn't know before, including me to some extent. The free float I suspected was the case due to the moves. I suppose with a limited free float, it is hard to make a stable base price?
OBC is very tightly held, with a limited free float.
This is what drives the spikes, and was what first drew me to OBC.
I have been buying all the way down from 7op to 49p.
As an earlier poster pointed out, the volume is comparatively low on the recent drop.
Compare this to the Feb spike, when the entire amount of shares in issue was traded in just 3 days.
FWIW, I have also been stocking up on AFN shares too - they are similarly illiquid, and also tend to spike on any significant buying.....I reckon ADVFN, which OBC own around 20% of, is due a rerate.
It seems to me that Freefaucet, happy miner, freeloadr, mooning market, and others could be viable - all they need is a facelift and a proper PR push to start making waves. At the moment, most of these offerings are flying under the radar.
Then they have buenos, brazio, plus1coin and now UMBRIA, which could be major for OBC.
I have recently signed up for Happy Miner, and am now mining BRZ and BUEN. Just a bit of fun, but I learn more each day.
It also seems to go up whenever Argo goes back up...
Been watching the trades for days and it was like quids now it's K's one went thru for 126k which I think kick started momentum again. Hope so anyway.
Get out there tell everyone what we do and why we do it at OBC. Buying OBC who are Incubating new coins is far less risky than buying bitcoin. This company own a large stake in ADVFN that's huge! They are incubating and managing new coins all the time. There is even a crypto marketplace like ebay run by these guys.
Too right! Rockets on zero volume always has done.

Fingers crossed it is then!! :)
RYAN - I hear you, I bought at 120p so its been tough holding this. I made money on MODE so had the same thinking here and it backfired big time lol
But MOOT makes a very good point. This has been dragged down on fairly low volume so why couldn't it climb back up on fairly low volume?
Not a huge number of shares in issue. And we've climbed very nicely today on pretty average numbers.
GLA
Yes but it moves big on very little volume.
I am not sure what this is based on I am stuffed at 1.04 and clearly hope you are correct, there appears to be limited interest in this share now - just 60 trades since open today......
Just that... And then.... People start buying large again and it rockets. That share offering a few weeks ago wasnt for nothing dyor before jumping to conclusions. This company ahs access to a mahoosive audience woth advfn. And hey like I said before by hold rocket I did tell you a week ago. 50p will go to 1.10 no problem
