It's a fair point Pud. No reference to Gore's organisation at all in the presentation, even as a partner organisation. Interesting.
Pud i guess that you are having a go at me so fair play -------------- no idea but i still believe this is will be announced when viable . i 100% believe in this partnership .
Theatre not mentioned today.
Any explanation ?
Hi shareDuke
I agree with you that we will not be streaming from their 60 venue's
But how many venue's do live nation cover in the
US ?
Not Quite
LN and MVR is mostly geographical with UK and may be EUROPE
US alone is too big for any one company and record labels or artists themselves will not put all deals in one basket.
LN + Ticketmaster are same group
So their relationship with MVR continues
Something tells me we will have Virgin group/Broadband contract too
LN will be working with Napster they wont to be able to cover all events , and there is a huge amount of other business that does not include LN , infact a huge amount of other business ? APP and streaming .
Wake up . LN will not be using NAPS for streaming from their own venues using their own platform .NAPS is being shut out and If anything will now be needing to buy this content in to fill their own App content ambitions . Read the RNS where they state they are scaling down MVRs content capture
Oh and we are very tiny compared .
Dc i do believe they have done a couple of festivals , i dont think the 2 were all LN ??????
Thank you lordfont so just with 02 it's not far off
Just partnering with 02 is 42 venues from memory , lets not get into the filming they are doing with Singtel and the Asain artists , What i dont understand are the investors that invest in this share that conclude we are dumped when today's presentation showed us the facts !!!! completely opposite to what normal thinking people have read and digested :)
40,000 concerts and 100 festivals all covered by Veeps 60 venues ??
It barely scratches the surface. And there will be other partnerships LN enters into.
With the forthcoming app and Broadway likely to re-start in Q3/Q4, Melody/Napster will have plenty to keep themselves occupied.
Lordfont can you remember how many venue's melody have I'm sure it's more then that
And they have 60 in the whole of the US :)
And as you say at this moment we are still partners with LN
We are still partners with Live-nation , they need help to film all these concerts , not just from Napster !! Again being independent keeps all commercial avenues open . look at the presentation . Streaming/filming/Vr needs huge logistics .
Ouch indeed. Looks like we've been dumped...
"The dominant global promoter, which runs 40,000 concerts and more than 100 festivals in a typical year,"
The 60 US venue's must be busy :)
