Hi Ferrisc,
I understand parts of 5G are being rolled out, however there is a lot of discussion within industry regarding the infrastructure and it’s not a complete picture. However, I’m sure there are others with far more knowledge! GLA
5g is being rolled out as we type Mel.
The rollout of 5G has not been as O2 or any other network is as simple as first thought, the legacy 2G, 3G and 4G systems are still being evaluated technically to establish where 5G is best deployed. The EcoSystem is still being discussed and I don’t believe 5G will available for a period of time therefore the monetisation of MelodyVR will not depend on 5G. I also believe that O2 realise the potential but not in the current offering, I believe they would probably receive negative reviews due to the non availability of 5G and the lower quality Oculus Go.
I believe O2 will be part of the future of MelodyVR but under a new offering!! IMO
Watching the crowds bouncing on old footage points to the content being a winner .
Anticipate a takeout if they get moving and this is a regular thing.
Just can’t tell with this , needs stats .
looks like I've attached an importance to this which others do not feel is there.w for me the fact that O2,one of our biggest recent tie ups, bothered to coordinate a twitter blitz from all its venue account offices (I'm not sure how many there are but its a lot all over the country) suggests at least a confidence in melody and a desire to promote it.i don't imagine it's difficult (just set up the tweet and then ascribe it to all the offices) but the fact they have bothered seems to counter the suggestion, at least in part, that they were not really interested in the tie-up and were not promoting it. perhaps I'm reading too much into it but it struck me as very good news. just my opinion
every single o2 venue account (whatever that means)according to brown adder on twitter.wont post a link as i think you would get them all.
has anyone seen the o2 tweets. no idea how many but it explains why it took so long to load the latest. possibly a good sign.
